Britain’s Electricity Future

I find it interesting in reading some of the comments that some people are in denial about coal and the damage it does to the environment and the health issues it causes people.

We live in the 21st century and there is nothing wrong with trying to find a different way to do things that is cheaper and a better fuel source then coal or oil.

The article says that it is going over to gas from coal and that there might be a gap because not enough gas plants are being built to replace the coal plants that are going to be shut down in the future.  The Government does have a duty to make sure that they are building those new plants so that the transfer can go as smoothly as possible.  No matter what plan you use, there are always problems that need to be worked out.  They have time to work out the kinks so that they can have a peaceful turnover to gas.
