You are right in that most circles the same principle applies that if you don't think 100% like the rest of the group does than you are not really accepted.

"I am finding that like Krim who just assumed I was anti gun and wanted to take away his gun because I didn’t like little girls having their pictures taken with guns and posted on the internet in a hot looking babes with guns thread. Well the reverse is that anyone who is pro life and traditonal family values is considered and evil racist. It doesn’t matter that the Catholic Church does a lot of good in this world but because it is anti gay marriage it is racist. Therefore since I am standing by the church I am an evil racist too."

Chrisy, that's the way life is. Most people just tend to think in black and white. Are you talking about that thread on Stormfront? You should know by now how it goes in that circle. You must agree with this and think like that, otherwise you're an anti, or you're anything but what you really are. Come to think of it, that applies in most circles. 'Tis better to be on your own.

"I handed in my weapon recently to the police, they made it so hard for citizen to keep their guns. Now I own a crowbar!!"

Garfield, what would have happened if you didn't hand in your gun?

We have an expression here, "It's better to be tried by twelve, than carried by six." I personally would rather be carried by six than a lot of things, but not for being unable to exercise my right to arm and defend myself.

I wouldn't love a world with no guns, or whatever other means to defend myself. You just never know when you WILL need them. You especially will never know when you will need to use force to defend your rights, even if the world appears peaceful and ideal at that time.

"A wise man in times of peace prepares for war." - Horace

As for that website, Ring of Fire, I checked it out, briefly. I bring enough trouble on myself in real life, lol.

Garfield,

I couldn't disagree with you more. I am not defending Bush. I think he should be tried as others who condone the use of torture. I think Obama should be tried if he continues the use of torture. I don't like double standards and excuses being made on why those who serve in positions of power in all government are allowed to get away with crime while the average citizen is put in jail for many years for lesser crimes.

I am reading a book about the Founding Fathers. Even back in those days the Federalists and the Republicans were fighting each other and both wanted a very different vision for this new nation.

Jefferson I found out did believe in racial seperation. I was really surprised because as it turned out SF was right in their quote that they use of Jefferson and I was wrong. If I go by what this book says than Jefferson is not the hero I thought he was.

Washington was a great man. John Adams was also a good man who was passionate about his beliefs. Even back then the North and South had a different vision for this nation. Even then there was a divide. Jefferson was very much a man of the South as John Adams was very much a man from Massachusetts.

America is heading down a very dangerous path. WE have been on this dangerous path for years. Time is running out for us to correct and turn back.

Yes, I fear for the future of my country. We are piling more defict spending and are on the way to going bankrupt. How are we ever going to pay down the debt?

I don't think you should just judge the United States as evil. Many countries are using torture around the world. WE are just one of the many. WE should at least be honest and condemn all countries who use torture including Iran.

Why is it that White Nationalists excuse Iran's use of torture but not the United States who for the American White Nationalist is their homeland?

Both sides Garfield have done EVIL!!! Both sides should be condemened for the evil and not just the United States. We have also done good in the world as well.

Gar,

I will admit that the United States was wrong to torture people. Yet, Canada and the UK as I posted an article about last week also have tortured people. I just don't think the United States should be singled out when other countries have also used torture.

I don't like double standards. Let's call a spade a spade and admit that we as a society have lost much of our honor when we torture people. ALL TORTURE IS EVIL!!!

The catholic church is getting fire from both sides. The White Nationalist thinks the Catholic church is to liberal because of our stand in helping the Immigrats who are coming to this country to seek a better life. The Progressives bash Catholics because of our stand on the abortion and gay marriage issue. Yet, I believe as a Catholic that my faith should come first over my political views. I believe that Catholics all over the world must stand for what is morally right even if we die for it.

These brave men who answered the Catholic call to serve should be an encouragement and inspiration to all Catholics that we must not give in and ever condone and even justify the use of evil such as torture.

The sermon today was about how we must sometimes choose between serving God and serving government. If there comes a time when we have to choose to between what is morally right and doing what the government might tell us to do than we should do what is morally right. Just following orders was not a defense allowed for the Nazis and it shouldn't be allowed as far as the use of torture.

Perhaps we could even consider why American citizens of arabic background are detained and tortured in a foreign country, or why men languish in jails with no charges and no legal representation?

The land of the free and the home of the brave, what a crying shame......cowardice, gross human right violations. Bush should be charged along with his jew kinsman for crimes against humanity, this only fuels our cause. Sadly though innocent Americans will die to achieve the 'hearts and minds' of people who hate the US with every fibre of their being, for each muslim killed twenty will step in their place, the Russians learnt this lesson at a costly price. The arrogance of the US will cost them double, sadly each day more body bags come of those who have fallen defending the ideals of ZOG. Can the parents of these sons really believe they where defending and fighting for liberty? No, their deaths were empty, pointless and their blood is on the hands of all Americans. True democracy, what a joke, is this what your forefathers died for when liberating your own country?

Shameless!! Perhaps I'm starting to understand the mind of Timothy Mc Veigh.

Yes, it was terrible what happen to the priests. It was terrible that happen to the nuns too. They were following their calling to help the poor and suffering and they are killed because they lived out their faith by their actions. These priests were men of courage.

Garfield,

While I do agree that President Obama has broken some of the promises he made to the American people, I don't feel that he is any different than a lot of people who will say what the American people want to hear to get elected and then forget about what they promised once they get elected.

It is sad that we have a society that doesn't make our political leaders give an account for every single lie they tell. Honesty is not important and is overlooked.

Democrats have lied. Republicans have lied. To a lot of people their political party comes first and anyone who is in the same party has their dishonesty overlooked while the person in a different party is made out to be the anti-christ.

Progressives get mad at what the conservatives are saying about President Obama, but they seem to forget some of the awful things they said about the Republican Presidents.

This country has to many problems to continue on the same path of putting political party first over honor. Until we start to place a value on the qualites that make one an honorable person and demand that from all people who run and serve in elected office we will continue to have big money control our political system. Until we demand honesty from our elected officals we will continue to have the broken promises and lies being overlooked because they are of the same party.
