I want to report that thousands came to the Yes for Independent Scotland Rally. If I was there I would go to the rally too. The old Jacobite in me, as my ancestors the MacDonalds and other Scottish ancestors were Jacobites, still dreams of a day when we will be free again to be our own nation. The same dream shared by our Irish brothers and sisters for a free Ireland.
We have some issues that need to be worked out before it can happen. If Scotland can be first to achieve our shared dream of a free nation then we must support and help our Irish Celtic brothers and sisters for a free Ireland as well as a free Scotland.
I know I like many other Scots have English blood inside of me. I love my English side as well. One doesn’t hate themselves or they shouldn’t. That is why I feel we must find a peaceful solution that makes all sides happy about the idea of a free Scotland and Ireland. Violence never works. Violence never brings anyone to our side, but turns people away and sucks the support of the people from our Cause. All reasonable people can find solutions to the problems that seperate us, so that all people on all sides can find something to agree on. we are all not going to get 100% what we want but if we are lucky we might get 50% what we want. The SNP must be willing to work with the PM David Cameron and the PM must be willing to listen to the wishes of the Scottish People. Both sides must use reason in finding a solution that works for all sides.
Our Irish Celtic brothers and sisters must not even think of returning to using violence as a means to getting a free Ireland. If we in Scotland can succeed in gaining a free Scotland through non violence then I hope they will choose to use the same blue print and seek a free Ireland through elections and seeking to find a solution that works for all without any use of violence.
On one of my Scottish groups we were talking and dreaming about picking the National athem for a free Scotland. I think Scotland the Brave should be considered plus the Flower of Scotland. Anyone of those two songs would be a great choice. I will play both and you can choose which one you like best.

Love this song as it makes me think of Flora MacDonald who was a hero of mine.
Someday I will make it to Skye and visit Lord and Lady MacDonald. I know others who were in Clan Donald in Kansas who went and how they said how wonderful it is.
