My quote is from John Adams, one of
the Founding Fathers of this nation. He
and his wife Abigail have always been
heroes to me. They are too from MA and
I tend to pick a lot of my heroes from
Massachusetts and the New England area.
” Our obigations to our country never cease
but with our lives.” ( John Adams)
I believe this with my whole heart and soul.
That is why my oath as a Political Daughter
of the American Revolution is ingrained
into my heart. I live that oath!!!!!!
Why do you think I fight White Nationalism and
White Nationalist men? They stand for everything
that John Adams fought against.
There are times when we get so frustrated
with the political process. believe me I do
too. You many times feel like you are
not represented in government. That those
in power don’t give a damn of the
pain and suffering that you are going through.
That your vote doesn’t count and that there
is no honest person to vote for. They all lie!!!!
Yet, to tune out is not the answer. We must
fight even louder to get the voice of the people
heard. We must make sure that we jump
through ever hurdle they put in place to
stop us from being active in the government
of this nation. We must find the American
Patriot Spirt inside ourselves.
If you are a parent, make sure you children
have a strong foundation in American History
and Civics. It is not taught in the schools
as it should be. Our children are ignorant of
the basic truth of the Consitution or even
the Declaration of Independence we celebrate
today. You teach them at home. Take them
to visit Historial sites on vacations. Where
ever you go for vacation there is always
some historial site to visit.
I will end with one of my other MA hero’s reading
the Declaration of Independence. I post this
every year. Hopefully if you have children, you
will read them the Declaration of Independence
yourself before the fun starts or having them
