I don’t need to have people give me a hard time over the choice o fhero, so we will leave it unspoken. Besides I want you to think of the thought and not who said it. Does it really matter what person said those very wise words I am asking you to ponder and think on?
Both the Right and the Left in this country are so busy trying to condmen the source that they loose the art of really listening and hearing what is said. We can learn from every single person that crosses our path. Knoledge and teh search of it should not be closed because an ave. might be a different perspective then what you already believe. People need to develop an open mind and realize that knowledge and truth have no agenda.
I don’t think this country really cares about it fellow man. I say that as someone who has found that to be a very hard reality of life. Education in this country when I went to school was not open to what was best for the student, but trying to fit everyone into this same square peg. Yet, I the round peg didn’t fit into the square peg and it was always a fight of my saying I don’t want to be forced into some peg.
I am self educated and am better educated then most people who go to school. Sad really. It is sad when we have people who graduate from college and can’t on a blank map of the world put in the United States and its capiol or the other nations and capitols of the world. Who can’t take a blank map of the United States and put in each state and capitol. Who can not name the three branches of government and their function and why they were formed as a chekc and balance to each other. Who do not know was. Who can tell you the country we fought the American Revolution against. American History plus Word History is no longer taught in this country to the point that our youth are educated.
I blame the NSDAR partly because we failed to pass on American History to the next generation. To busy patting ourselves on the back for being daughters and not caring enough to get involved because after all it isn’t a political group that cares about the issues that are facing this nation. I have news for the President General who called me out for being too political. I had a history book of the NSDAR and at one time the President General would speak in front of Congress on Political issues such as Imigration, Education and helping new Ciziens get ready to pass their test to become American citizen. To say that we are not to be political is misleading and distorts our History as Daughters who take na oath in our meetings to defend this nation and our Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. Because I meant that oath from the heart I started to fight White Nationalism. I fight agaisnt the lousy education system in this country who fails to teach our children HISTORY. To speak out against Immigration policies that keep us from bringing real reform to the table and into reality.
I really don’t care anymore about NSDAR and that is why I formed the Political Daughters of the American Revolution for us Daughters who believe our ancestors would want us to mean our oath and to fight all enemies of this country both foreign and domestic on a political battle field. How can we their daughters turn our back on HOW and WHY this nation was founded?
I know don’t rock the boat with truth, courage and honor. It is better to pretend and be in denial the true condition of this nation. I refuse to do that. I ahve always been the one who had the courage to stand up and fight. We must FIGHT. Yes, I have PASSION too. I also have a deep LOVE.
We need wise and honest men to choose to run for publica office. We need Daughters who are willing to help and support these men, so they can run adn win the power they need to save this country from going over the cliff at 100 miles per hour. To say that we Daughters in the political side of this country is wrong. We have had many First Ladies who have been both Mayflower and DAR ( Daughters of the American Revolution). Even one of the founders of the NSDAR was a First Lady.
I am better off doing my own group Political Daughters of the American Revolution so I can fight to save this country in the political eralm and not have to worry about being censored because they would rather forget the true History of the Daughters and turn it into a do nothing real group. Sorry, my mom is NSDAR and they play bridge, meet for their little talks, and feel good about their heritage, but what do they really do to fix or solve the problem.
Oh, if you have a problem President General then come to me and not my MOM. I lost all respect for your group because of that. Talk to me. Though I think you are the one who has lost the way. I am not the first member to resign and walk away because of your refusal to join the political fight on issues effecting this country. Do I have to say the word ER?
If the NSDAR is going to move into the 21st century then we have to stop being our mom’s DAR. We must enter the fight to save this country in the politcal realm. I am not saying you have to run for office,, but we still must be active and support the men we choose to be helpmates to. They need a good woman beside them to make sure have every tool they need to be the best they can be. I am old fashion so I have always dreamed of an old fashion role.
Yet, there are women who are Daughters that might want to be more active then just being the best helpmate a woman can be. Why shouldnt/ the DAR support those women, instead of making them feel they are doing something wrong because they know that if we are going to save this nation then yes, the NSDAR must take a political role.
