Iran Cuts Oil Shipments to Britain, France

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran has halted oil shipments to Britain and France, the Oil Ministry said Sunday, in an apparent pre-emptive blow against the European Union after the bloc imposed sanctions on Iran’s crucial fuel exports.

The EU imposed tough sanctions against Iran last month, which included a freeze of the country’s central bank assets and an oil embargo set to begin in July. Iran’s Oil Minister Rostam Qassemi had warned earlier this month that Tehran could cut off oil exports to “hostile” European nations. The 27-nation EU accounts for about 18 percent of Iran’s oil exports.

“Crude oil exports to British and French companies have been halted,” Oil Ministry spokesman Ali Reza Nikzad-Rahbar said on the ministry’s shana.ir website. “We have our own customers and have no problem to sell and export our crude oil to new customers.”

Targeting Britain and France appeared to be a political decision by Iran to punish the two countries for supporting tougher sanctions against Iran over its disputed nuclear program.

Britain’s Foreign Office declined comment, and there was no immediate response from French officials.

I hope this will awaken people to the truth that Iran is a powerful and dangerous enemy who we can no longer take for granted and think appeasement and doing nothing is a good idea on how to handle Iran and their radical Islamists friends around the world.  Appeasement didn’t work in the 30′s with Hitler and it will not work today with Iran and all the other radical Islamists who want to destroy both Israel and the United States.  They are at war with us (Western Europe, United States, and Israel), while we think we can be friends and hold hands singing cum be ya.  Denial was deadly in the thirty’s and it is deadly today.

History repeats itself because people forget.  

Obama is the worst President on foreign policy this nation has ever had.  If we have any chance of survival and keeping Israel adn the West free, then we must start being smart and strong.  Obama is weak, and Iran and the Muslim world know this; the way that Hitler knew that the UK was weak in the 30′s.  I plead with Americans to vote out Obama and put into office a strong leader who is trusted and respected, unlike Obama who has told so many lies, that no one trusts or respects him.  People don’t follow leaders who LIE TO THEM.  The trust and respect is GONE AND WON’T BE COMING BACK.  I believe Rick Stantorum or Mit Romney would be much better at handling foreign policy and standing up to Iran and all the radical Muslims who are working to achieve their goals of destroying Israel and the United States off the face of the earth, and all those in South America who are working with teh radical Islamists and Iran to achieve that goal.  They openly say that they will finish what Hitler started in killing all Jews and real Christians.It is in their Holy book, that you either convert to their brand of Islam or die.  Yet, Obama is weak and lies, which is very dangerous.Obama is known around the world as a man without any honor, because he lies.  A President who lies to his own people is scum in my eyes. 

I like and admire PM David Cameron.  I pray that God will give him wisdom and courage to do what must be done to save the UK and the rest of us.  I ask my fellow Brits and 1/2 Brits around the world to pray for our Prime Minister.  He needs our prayers that God will guide him and bless him in how he thinks is the best way to move forward, and that he will be honest and not lie to us.  That he will tell us the truth always and be a strong leader who leads by example.  Who is a man of honor and moral character. 

We must stand with honor and courage.
