Donohue: Contraception Mandate Will be Fought With ‘Lawsuits’ & ‘Maybe Even in the Streets’

The battle over the Obama administration’s contraception mandate continues to heat up. On Monday, Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, made some bold proclamations regarding just how hard the Catholic Church plans to fight the government’s requirement that religious-affiliated schools and organizations cover contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs.

“Never before, unprecedented in American history, for the federal government to line up against the Roman Catholic Church,” said Donohue. “This is going to be fought out with lawsuits, with court decisions, and, dare I say it, maybe even in the streets.”

Here, Donohue is potentially calling for Catholics and supporters of religious freedom to join in peaceful protest against the mandate. Similar action (peaceful marches and events) has been taken in New York City, where religious groups have converged to fight a local ban on the use of public schools for worship.

I am so proud thta our Bishops and priests are standing up for religious freedom.  We lay Catholics must support and stand with Pope, Bishops, and Priests who have the moral courage to stand up for the teachings of Christ and our church.  Our faith must come first over political party or view.

 

We must choose what side we are on.  Are we on Christ’s side or are we on Obama’s side.  You can’t be with Christ and stand with Obama.  We must choose God’s Laws over Obama’s Laws.  Any Catholic who picks Obama over their Catholic faith, needs to take an honest look on if they are really Catholic.  We have many Catholics who are Catholics in name only, who think they can dictate to teh Pope what to believe and choose their political party over their church.  Obama is a liar.  Why do these Catholics choose to believe an evil liar over their church and faith?

 

I am so glad that our church is finally taking a stand and standing up for religious freedom and not being dictated by Obama and his government on what we do as Catholics and what we believe as Catholics.  Obama isn’t the head of the church, the Pope is. 

 

We are to judge men on their fruit.  Obama claims to be a Christian but his fruit speaks even louder that he isn’t a true Christian.  Collective Salvation is a LIE.  Our Pope has warned Catholics to stay away from that lie.  Yet, we have some Catholics who disobey the Pope and think they can claim to be devout Catholics who can speak for the Catholic church. WRONG, they are false Catholics and are leading people to hell with the lie of their collective Salvation.

 

Jesus came for all of us.  We have a choice.  God believes in free choice.  We are saved indivuality and not as a collective.  The offer is open to every one, but it is up to us to accept the gift of salvaiton.  it is never to late to come to the Lord and repent of our sins and accept Christ as our Lord and Savior who we allow to work in our lives and bring us closer to Christ.  The road is narrow that leads to Salvation and the road is wide that leads to hell.  Just because everyone think Collective Salvation is cool, doesn’t mean it is right.

 

I continue to say that Obama is an evil man.  I say that because he LIES.  A LIAR IS NOT A TRUE CHRISTIAN AS JESUS HATE LIARS AND TELLS THEM THAT THEIR FATHER IS THE DEVIL WHO IS THE FATHER OF LIES AND LIARS.  He can claim he is a Christian all he likes but his actions say different.  Just the look on his face as he says he is a Christian gives away that he has no real feelings for Christ or Christ’s teachings.  Obama’s facial expressions speak loud and clear,his true feelings about Christ and the Christian church.  Sometimes it not what we say, but how we say it.

 

I wish we had on the ballot none of the above so that if that won, we would have a chance to pick two more candidates.  Honesty has to be a basic requirment on who can hold political office and leadership in this nation.  Instead, we have liars who lie to get elected.  We deserve what we get if we continue to elect liars to poltical office.

 

I believe Rick Santorum is a good and honorable man.  He is who I am voting for.  I pray that Rick Santorum will be our next President.   We need him at the helm and not lying Obama.
