Homeland Security Given Green Light to Monitor American Journalists
Under the National Operations Center (NOC)’s Media Monitoring Initiative that emerged from the Department of Homeland Security in November, Washington has written permission to collect and retain personal information from journalists, news anchors, reporters or anyone who uses “traditional and/or social media in real time to keep their audience situationally aware and informed.”
According to DHS, the definition of personal identifiable information can consist of any intellect “that permits the identity of an individual to be directly or indirectly inferred, including any information which is linked or linkable to that individual.”
RT adds:
Previously established guidelines within the administration say that data could only be collected under authorization set forth by written code, but the new provisions in the NOC’s write-up means that any reporter, whether someone along the lines of Walter Cronkite or a budding blogger, can be victimized by the agency.
Also included in the roster of those subjected to the spying are government officials, domestic or not, who make public statements, private sector employees that do the same and “persons known to have been involved in major crimes of Homeland Security interest,” which to itself opens up the possibilities even wider.
The department says that they will only scour publically-made info available while retaining data, but it doesn’t help but raise suspicion as to why the government is going out of their way to spend time, money and resources on watching over those that helped bring news to the masses.
According to RT, the website “Fast Company” reports that the NOC Monitoring Initiative has been in play since at least early-2010 and that the data is being shared with both private sector businesses and international third parties

Our government has become a nightmare with to much power. They have almost made the Constitution which made us the United States dead with no real meaning, and we are beginning to see the new America that is a communist/socialist police state.

We have laughing party boy in the White House who lies, spends taxpayer money on lavish parties, and bipasses the Congress. Obama is an evil man. A man who lies is evil. A man who corrupts the system for his own personal wants is not worthy to be President; George Washington the total opposite and an example of a good President must be tossing and turning in his grave to see the kind of man who is now President of the United States.
I am saying the truth, so if you don’t like It, Obama and your Progressive Socialists can stick it in your hat. I don’t care about you. I know longer have any desire to work with you for the good of the country. You miss the boat, and it is sailling away without you. I know who the true American patriots are who are willing to fight and die for the Constitution. I also know that you are NOT A TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOT AS YOU CLAIM, BUT ARE JUST AS EVIL AS OBAMA WHO YOU SUPPORT AND LIE JUST AS MUCH AS OBAMA LIES.
I have good reason to distrust and reject the American government. I knew at 14 it was better to be British then American. Though I fought and loved both countries and was proud at one time to be a Daughter of the American Revolution, I know longer will pretend and hide my head in the sand like they do. Everyone afraid to rock the boat by telling the truth and actually fighting to save the Consitution and the nation our Fore Fathers ( ancestors) fought with their blood, sweat and tears to build. Who were willing to DIE and GIVE everything they had, including their lives to build this once great and moral nation. They too would roll over in their graves to see what a bunch of Cowards the Daughters of the American Revolution have become, with them joining with those who are out to destroy the Constitution and this nation for their NEW WORLD ORDER. What happen to the DAR who spoke in front of Congress on issues that effected this nation, to become a group of ladies who do nothing to stand up and fight the very people who are trying to destroy the Constition and the United States? No, you make oaths that you will fight but don’t mean the oaths in your heart, because you refuse to see the truth and instead of fighting to save this nation have become part of the problem and not the solution.
It has taken me many years to accept the true condition of this government. I seperate the government from the American people. They no longer are on the same page. I had to go through denial, anger, barter, depression, and then acceptance. I will not fight or die for Obama and his government. I will fight and die for the Constitution that I as a Daughter swore to protect against all enemies foreign and domestic. I would not take a bullet for Obama, but would for David Cameron.
That is why I will be hanging the Union Jack in my room and no longer the American flag. If I have to choose a leader that I will follow and obey I choose David Cameron. I am still a Daughter of the British Empire.
If Obama wants to deport me back to Scotland, than so be it. Because I will never support, fight or die for HIM ( OBAMA). This woman doesn’t follow or submit to leaders who LIE AND DO THE EVIL DEEDS THAT OBAMA DOES. LONG LIVE THE QUEEN.
