I want to wish everyone a very happy New Year. May 2012 be a good year for all of us. May God bring real love and peace to the world and all of us. May we turn our hearts toward Him.
Still fighting this bug that is still effecting my throat and voice. I get this every year. Hoping that since I no longer smoke, that it will go away quickly. Bought the sparkling cider for tomorrow night. Will stay home and watch the apple come down in New York on tv. For those who venture out tomorrow night I wish you happiness and a good time. Stay safe, as there will be drunk drivers on the road tomorrow night too, though I know in AZ the police will be out in full force.
All across the world people are thinking of what their new year’s resolution will be. Haven’t really thought about it, but for me, it is trying to be a woman of moral courage and honor, like George Washington was a man of moral courage and honor. I will as soon as I feel better and the crowds die down at the mall, go and buy the book called Being George Washington. Each month work on a quality of George Washington, and hopefully by the end of 2012 I will have developed 12 good qualities. Like the first month is treating others as you want to be treated. The month after that is not lying period. etc.
It saddens me that we have at the helm of this nation a President who LIES. A man who is so corrupted that he will go down as the most corrupted President in History. A man who distorts History. I don’t follow leaders who LIE to me and to everyone else. Obama has lied so many times, I don’t trust or respect him. Without trust and respect, there is no submission on my part. He may be the President of the United States but he is not my President or leader. I have more trust and respect for PM David Cameron.
I no longer think the solution to our problems is through Politics. They all LIE and are CORRUPTED. Can’t trust a word they say. They all LIE!!!!!!! The Congress doesn’t get my trust or respect either. There are a few good and honest people who have not been corrupted to sell their nation down the river for their 30 pieces of silver, but the majority are LIARS.
Both Political Parties LIE and are CORRUPTED. They put their party first over what is good for the nation. George Washington and John Adams, both heroes to me, didn’t believe in political parties and warned people that at some point in the future, that people will put party over nation. That is exactly what has happen. They knew that what has happen with people putting party first would be bad for the nation. They were right.
I feel the solution to our problems as a nation is to turn our hearts to Jesus, if we are Christian. Turning our hearts to the God we believe in, rather Christian, Jew, or Muslims. That we turn our hearts to the God that we choose to worship, if you are Pagan. All faiths Christian, Jewish, Muslim or Wiccan believe in treating others as we want to be treated. That what we do to others comes back on us. We live in a world and nation where it is accepted that our POLITICAL LEADERS LIE AND HAVE CORRUPTED OUR SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT. The crimes being ignored and overlooked because the people committing the crimes are Progressive Democrat, Black Nationalists who give other Black Nationalists a free get out of jail free card, and who believe in collective salvation where the state becomes the one who saves us and not God. God judgement is coming upon this nation because or the evil that our government does. LYING is evil. Lying is breaking one of the 10 Commandments that both Jews and Christians believe in. Lying is considered bad in both Muslim and the Wiccan faith as well. Why the indifference and lack of action? Why the condoning of a President and government who LIES to us?
I believe that if we truly have faith in God, that we must stand up to liars and evil men. We must value the truth and not all the truth to be erased and the lies become the truth. We must value justice and equal justice for all and reject the socialism of social justice. Collective salvation is a LIE, which our POPE has warned Catholics that it is a false teaching and must reject as Catholics. We must stand for the truth!!!! Do we really believe and God and our faith comes first or do we reject our God and his teachings and place our progressive political view first over God? Both Progressives and White Nationalists have HATE IN THEIR HEARTS FOR OTHERS WHO ARE DIFFERENT THEN THEM. God is not at the center of their CAUSE, because God is LOVE. Hate is always from the evil one.
We are all sinners and have all done wrong, but the great thing about Jesus is that he FORGIVES US when we REPENT of our sins and come back to HIM. This would be a great time to decide to REJECT the EVIL in our lives and strive to live a life of truth and honor.
I would encourage my fellow Catholics to pray a rosary everyday. Let that be your new year’s resolution to pray a rosary everyday with your family or alone. Let prayer and reading the Word of God everyday be something that you strive for. I read the daily reading in my missal everyday. There are also a lot of good Catholic Bibles to read from too. Let us strive to live our faith 24/7 365 days of the year and not just be Catholic on Sunday when going to mass. Yet, forgetting to live as a Catholic during the rest of the week and thinking that the Catholic church teaches gobbly goup.
The Bible is the WORD OF GOD. It is not just stories of make believe, but is the Word of God. We aren’t Calvinists, but we still believe the Bible is the Word of God.
