In an impassioned plea to Speaker John Boehner, Judge Andrew Napolitano outlines what needs to be done to help resolve the fiscal crisis faced by America.
For those unfamialir with Napolitano, he is a former New Jersey Superior Court Judge and is now a political and legal analyst for Fox News Channel. He started on the channel in 1998, and currently serves as the network’s senior judicial analyst, commenting on legal news and trials.
Opponents to raising the debt ceiling will find it to be a pretty stirring video.
“Dear Mr. Speaker,
When the Founders at the Constitution Conventional in 1787 created the House of Representatives, it was fashioned to act as the voice of the people within the institutional checks and balances of the Federal Government. That’s why the entire House faces reelection every 2 years. That’s why Constitutionally, you don’t have to even be a member of Congress to serve as speaker. And that’s why the Constitution allows for thousands of members of the House for our current population. It is the people’s house, and the people spoke last November. They cried out against a government completely out of control. After President Bush grew the U.S. debt by $7 trillion dollars in 8 years in office, and President Obama added $4 Trillion in just 2 years in office, the people cried out against big-government policies that are sabotaging the economy and taking over our lives. And because they cried out, you are no longer just John Boehner from Ohio. You are now the second in line to succeed to the presidency. You are the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

I agree wtih the Judge. The GOP must stand firm and not allow Obama to use scare tactics to allow him to continue to do NOTHING REAL to fix the problem.
We don’t need to raise taxes, but we do need to go through tax loopholes that exist. We need to cut the government in size as we have duplicate programs that do the same thing. In real life people look at their income and they cut spending and get rid of duplicate spending. Our government refuses to do the same thing.
Americans are sick and tired of the lies and corruption in our government. People are sick and tired of Obama and the Democrats using scare tactics to get away with them kicking the ball down the street so they don’t have to loose political votes. Their politics is much more important to them, then the country or the people. Even Democrat friends know it is scare tactics and wrong to stop paying the military, elderly, and health care benefits for the poor( like they are in az) instead of cutting the pay of Obama the President and all those who serve him and Congress. If they cut their pay first, instead of the people, they would work harder to find a real solution, instead of using this real crisis into a political pawn.
Our government is disconnected from the american people. Obama still blames Bush for everything and it has been over three years since Obama took office. Even Progressives who voted for Obama are sick and tired of him blaming Bush ( as they know by this time it is Obama who is at the helm) and his whining and crying. He is a weak man and leader. We are more hated because Islamists in the Middle East don’t respect weak men like Obama who they know won’t stand for what is right and won’t even support Israel, but threw them under the bus. Obama is a disaster.
We need a real man to lead this country and not some modern feminine man like Obama who whine, cry, and lie. He is lying again about the SS not going out on the 3rd, as a postman just called and said that the checks go out before the end of July so they can be there on the third. Obama is lying again. Everytime Obama opens his mouth he is lying.
We need a real man to lead this country and not a modern man who is such a wimp he can’t lead, who lies so much that people refuse to follow him because they don’t believe him, who is so weak and lacks courage so much he refuses to fight the enemy who wants to destroy us, but appeases them hoping that they don’t have to fight.
We need an honest man like George Washington. A strong man like John Adams. A great statesman like Thomas Jefferson. they were real men and not these modern feminine men that they don’t know how to be real men.
It is Obama’s fault that we are in the situation we are in now. Obama and his Democrat Congress had two whole years to do this budget, but didn’t. Obama has yet to put forward a budget, but the Republicans have. Was it perfect? No, but at least Ryan had the courage to put forth a budget, which Obama has not.
I pray that Obama will leave office in 2012. Please don’t fall for Obama’s lies and vote for him again. He is a lying man who has no desire to do the right thing. He doesn’t value the truth and therefore has no honor. He is not a real man, but a cry baby who whines and cries. He has betrayed the nation, by his lying and corruption. Honor does matter. character does matter. Say no to Obama and his dishonor.
