United Methodist Board Features Anti-Israel Message in Newsletter
“It’s time for Palestine.”
That’s the title of a recent article featured in the newsletter of the General Board of Church and Society, the advocacy wing of the United Methodist Church. And as the title insinuates, the article is very anti-Israel.
For example, just two paragraphs in, author Rev. John Calhoun talks about the recent wave of democracy sweeping the Middle East. “Unfortunately,” he writes, “one state’s undemocratic, militaristic rule over millions of civilians suffering under its administration looks likely to continue unchallenged. That state is Israel, and those living under its illegitimate control are the Palestinians of East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.” [Emphasis added]

I am sorry that they have taken the stand they have against Israel. White Nationalists I know will praise this and might even start attending their church because of their anti Israel stand.
I am glad I am a Catholic and the Pope is asking Catholics and Jews to stand together and pray for Israel. We are pro Israel.
We must pray for Israel and their protection and safety. We are living in a world that more and more HATES ISRAEL. Progressives, White Nationalists, and now methodists to the list of groups of people who are anti Israel. Like all the other Progressives and white Nationalists we now have Methodists taking the Islamic terrorist side and say nothing when they cry out death to Israel and Jews. They are silent when they kill Jews and Catholics/Christians just because they are Jewish or Catholic.
If I was methodist I would leave that church. To me they are going against what God’s will is. I believe our Pope is right that we as Catholics need to stand and support Israel and the Jewish people.
I was reading in my day by day book about how a Catholic priest was in a concentration camp. He took the place of a young Jewish man who he knew was married and had a child. In the death cell where he was held, the guards talked about how instead of the crying out in fear that the priest prayed and his faith touched their hearts. There are a lot of stories of Catholics helping Jews during the WWII. White Nationalists are wrong to make it sound like the Catholic church supported Hitler. Many priests were arrested and churches locked up because they refused to submit to Hitler and to preach his message. They preached the truth and the true Catholic faith. We must stand up for what is morally right.
To hate Israel and the Jewish people and to take the side of the Islamists who want to kill them and finish what Hitler started is morally wrong in my eyes. It seems to me that the head of this church loves the world and being politically correct over seeking what God would have him do and speak as our Pope has spoken that we must as Christians and Jews stand together in support of Israel.
I’ve been a Methodist for a very long time. Belonging to a very liberal congregation I’ve enjoyed the freedom and open-mindedness of a church open to social responsibility, full participation of gay and lesbian members, the environment, etc.. This in contrast to other Methodist churches that are very conservative I’ve attended when traveling, which I found way too dogmatic and oppressive.
Over the years the ultra-liberal stance of my particular church has disenchanted me just as much as the ultra-conservative factions. This, apparent “official” stand against Israel is reason enough for me to finally and formally renounce my membership in the Methodist church.
Being a conservative-liberal (if that’s possibleI I believe the Methodists-and have corrupted Jesus’ message to promote a political ultra-liberalism agenda, catapulting the church into more of a political group than a congregation of worshippers.
I shall be looking into this further and if, in fact, this is where the church stands officially on Israel, I will definitely be leaving the church.
History has clearly shown us that previous RC priests sided with the Nazi party. If you profess to be a christian you must seek justice for all oppressed people, not just those who get $10 billion a year in financial aid to keep their apartheid state alive while the oppressed die of hunger and disease. That is not church dogma.
First I would like to say I am impressed with Gabriel’s church, for I am a gay Christian member of the Methodist faith and appreciate hearing about such openess.
As for this event, I do not condone it and I am considering leaving the Methodist faith in search for a more open-minded faith, possibly non-denominatinal. If this is how my denomination feels towards Isreal and the Jews, then I will not have any part of it.
In my humble opinion, every denomination is bad for a practicing Christian. Only through seperation of such influences do you find what your interpretation is and what you believe to be true when it comes to such religious questions and topics. However, that is only my humble philosophy.

I was shocked too when I read the article, because my sister and brother in law are Methodist and my nephew when he was a little boy went to Sunday school at the Methodist church.
My mom has told me about her grandmother on her dad’s side who was a strict Kansas Methodists who didn’t believe in going to the movies on Sunday. That is one secret they didn’t tell her was that her grand-daughter would sometimes go to the movies on Sunday. Boy has the church changed like all the churches. The Catholic church used to be more strict then it is today too.
I would encourage you not to do anything rash. Pray about it. Talk to your Pastor and see what he has to say. The Lord might want you to change things from the inside. The Lord might use you as a tool to bring the church to the right side and that is standing with the Jewish people and Catholics and other Christians in support of Israel. This rally in Jerusalem in Aug, I feel God will use to show the world that Israel and the Jewish people are not alone and we will not allow you Islamists or White Nationalists to continue working to destroy Israel and killing Jews and Catholics( who are shot in mass). The world media is silent, but we as people of moral courage must not be silent.
God will show you what to do.

Garfield, I am not deleting your comments. Like you I have a life. Going through some health issues with my shoulder. The ultra sound showed that I have bone on bone in the shoulder, plus other things. Don’t know what they are going to do, but might have to go under the knife again for another surgery.
Sometimes Garfield, I am on the computer only once or twice a day. There are other things that I like to do. I check the comments once a day. Spam section even less. Sorry if you felt I was playing a head game with you.
Garfield, it is a lie that the Catholic church supported Hitler. Catholic priests who listened to God, had the moral courage to stand up and support the Jewish people. We have as a church made saints of these brave men and women who died in concentration camps along side of Jews, for either refusing to support Hitler and telling their chuch to defy the Nazi’s and have the moral courage to help Jews. There were a couple of Priests who took the place of Jews and died for them, because as one priest said, this young Jew was married and had children.
White Nationalists like to say these lies that the church supported Hitler and the nazi’s because they want to deceive themselves into thinking that they can still be a Catholic in good standing and HATE JEWS.
White Nationalist Catholics are not the only Catholics who twist the faith to fit their political view. Catholic Socialists do it too with their liberation theology/collective salvation where the state becames the savior and not god. Our Pope has condemned this as a false teaching that we must reject as Catholics. Jesus was not a Socialist.
My mom is calling me so I have to go now. I am not going to fight with you over this. You and I will have to agree to disagree. I don’t waste my time, fighting with friends on political issues we don’t agree on. Life is to short to waste it fighting. I want to enjoy life a little. We must agree to disagree. Time is to short to waste fighting over issues we can’t change. We all have a chance to say how we feel. I am not going to change your mind and you are not going to change mine.

Thanks for your comment. I don’t have time to reply in detail as my mother is calling me. She has COPD and needs me to live with her or she would have to be in a nursing home. I encourage you to pray to the Lord for wisdom to know what he would have you do. Just because your leaders are anti Israel and pro Islamic terrorists in their support for Hamas, doesn’t mean that rank and file Methodists are anti Israel.
I encourage you and all other Methodists to join the rally in Jerusalem in Aug. Catholics, Jews, Methodists, Baptists and moderate Muslims should all be part of this rally. We must let the world know that we stand with Israel and the Jewish people and never again will we all people to be killed just because they are Jews.
I know that many people on the left don’t like Glenn Beck and are lying about what this rally is all about. God is using Glenn Beck to bring us together to show our support for Israel. I believe that God is going to use this rally. I truly want to go to Jerusalem this Aug. I also know if it is the Lord will for me to be there in person, then he will provide a way for me to be there. Everything will fall into place and the doors will open easily. I pray for this rally that God will use this rally for HIS (Jesus’s) greater good. I pray that the Islamic terrorists will not be able to commit violence against those of us who support Israel and will not allow another holocaust to happen. We have Islamists who kill people just because they are Jewish. That young family who was killed, the young man who was killed just because they were Jewish. Catholics are also killed by Islamists just because we are Catholic. They go into Catholic churches during mass and start shooting and killing people. Women are raped by these Islamists and the world is silent, because we can’t tell the truth.
I pray that people all around the world will come to this rally and come together in LOVE.

Does anyone even know what the Bible says about Israel? Those that bless Israel will be blessed. Those that curse Israel will be cursed. We don’t need any more curses coming into this nation, especially for not supporting Israel, God’s chosen people. How stupid can a “church denomination or entity” be to turn against Israel? Clearly, these folks don’t know anything about God’s Will for Israel..
As a member of the Methodist church since the age of 13 (now 39), I have become increasingly disturbed by the direction of the Methodist church- moving further away from sound Biblical doctrine. This most recent stance on Israel, I believe, is finally the “straw that broke this camel’s back”.

Thank you for your comments. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. It is going to be 95 in Phoenix, which is hot for me. 80′s are hot for me. Even though I no longer live in New England my body still likes the climate there better then anywhere else I have lived, lol.
I agree with you about the Methodist and other churches moving away from sound biblical and church doctrine. Even in the Catholic church, we have some Catholics who believe in the collective salvation that our Pope has warned us not to embrace. From what I understand collective salvation is they believe that we are all saved together as one and the state takes the place in saving people. Yet, the teaching of the Catholic church and Protestant churches has always been that Jesus comes to save all of us but we must believe in him and be born again. That we are saved individually and not as a collective group. Sadly, our churches are having to deal with this false teaching like a cancer that keeps growing. Some of our christians friends and families are believing this lie of the devil and rejecting the sound teachings of the Bible and the traditonal church.
The best thing to do is to pray for our churches and our Christian brothers and sisters who believe in this liberation theology/Collective Salvation that our Pope says is heresy. Pray for the Methodist church and their leaders. Pray that God would show them the error of their ways and they repent. Pray that if they refuse to repent that God will weed them out of the church so they can’t spread their cancer anymore then it already has been spread. Pray for revival to sweep through your church. We who are strong in our faith and have the courage to be soldiers for Christ, must stand in the gap for our weaker brothers and sisters.
It is not easy to walk with Christ and follow the teachings of Christ and the tradional Christan faith. We live in a world that bombards people with anti Christian values. Sex outside of marriage is being pushed on people. Girls are being pushed to have sex before marriage and girls as young as 12 or having sex. I am not talking about those of us who were raped at 11 or 12. It wasn’t our choice, but we were forced to have sex against our will. I had wanted to save myself for marriage as a gift to my future husband. That was violantly taken away from me. That really sad thing is that to add to the crime of rape, comes that adults didn’t believe me. A lot of time adults don’t believe the child, so that the person who likes having sex with children gets away with it. Safe sex is pushed on kids. Nice girls who want to save themselves for the man they marry, are mocked, teased, and left home alone because boys want the girl who will give them sex. At the age of 12 girls don’t realize that when men have sowed their wild oats and want to settle down and marry, they will then seek the nice girl that they mocked, teased and laughed at for their mate and future mom to their children. The bad girl slut is not the girl they want to marry and settle down with.
Around the world they have these slut walks. We have a generation of girls who have been taught that being a slut is a good thing. They are proud that by the time they are 18 they have had sex with many men. Some even come on tv and brag about how many men they have had sex with. They don’t want to hear the truth that the most beautiful thing in the world is to save yourself until the man you marry. I knew a girl growing up in the 70′s who was saving herself for the man she was going to marry. She has married and has two children. Her husband knows that she gave him the most wonderful gift. Even in some churches the youth have sex outside of marriage and people close their eyes and don’t tell them to stop.
Why are so many of our churches soft on sin? I think they are afraid if they hold to the traditional values and teachings that they will be rejected and mocked. You know all the politically correct jokes against christians. They want to be liked, so they give in and don’t teach or follow the true teachings of Christ.
It might very well be the straw that broke the camel’s back. I feel that way about Obama. He is the straw that broke the camel’s back regarding my trust, respect, and love for the government. He is the last in a long line of Presidents who have LIED TO THIS COUNTRY AND TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. So I am not just blaming Democrats. Obama just took it a step further. From day one he has done things to make me angry. It started when he returned the bust of Winston Churchill that was given to the American people and not HIM. He had no right to give that bust back. It wasn’t HIS TO GIVE BACK. It was OURS, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. He lies and is a weasel. Once trust is gone it is impossible to win back. Once respect is gone it is impossible or near impossible to get back. Obama may speak for the government of the UNITED STATES, BUT HE DOES NOT SPEAK FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES. Obama just made my decision easier to wash my hands of the government in the United States. If I am able I plan to move to the UK and become a British Subject. I have more trust, loyality, respect for the British Government then I do for Obama and this administration. My grandfather was Scottish and I have his birth certificate. My dad was considered a British Subject because both his parents were born in the UK. When my dad was in a foreign country and his life was in danger the Americans said ” go to hell”. The British saved his life and brought him back to me. I too had the same response of ” go to hell” when I asked someone in government to help me”. His response was ” it isn’t my problem”, which is the same as go to hell.
Like Winston Churchill who Obama hates so much that he wouldn’t even let his bust be on American soil, I have always considered myself half British and half American. Winston churchill was half British and half American too as his mother was an American. Though I grew up in America and would be considered more American then British, and Churchill grew up in the UK and was more British then American; I have always admired him as one of the greatest men in history. I have a set of books that he wrote about the History of the English Speaking people.
So I do understand about the staw the broke the camal’s back. I would encourage you to pray about it. That is what I am doing. It is not an easy choice. We must pray and seek God’s wisdom on the matter of leaving or staying. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side and God can use us to change things from within, at the same time God might be calling us out of the place because their sin is to great and they have no desire to do the right thing. Sometimes like with Lot, God tells us to leave and not look back. To wash our hands of the place, people, and things.

So let me get this straight Sun, your god allows the jews to kill Palestinians in his name? Furthermore I suggest you re-read your bible, when jesus came he did away with the old law and brought in the new. Jesus said of the jews, ‘You are of the devil’. I consider you a friend. I do miss our chats, and hopefully we can chat more once you are less busy and I am less busy.
I am sorry about your house not selling. People don’t have money here either. There are a lot of houses for sell in our little neighborhood and if we put ours for sale it will be four in a row that are for sale. I have noticed that the ones that do sale, the seller has to lower the price and are lucky to get out even. You will have to decide if leaving for Scotland is so important that you are willing to take less, just so you can leave now. I know that you will think things over and do what is best for your family. You are a good man at heart and I know you love and will do what is best for them.
What is happening on SF these days? I don’t even go and look the site over these days. There was a time when I thought I was a White Nationalist that I spent most of my computer time on there. That site felt like home with family and friends. There are good people I met through SF who have wonderful hearts and who I will always love in a way and hold dear in my heart, and I know I will never see or talk to them again. We are on opposite sides regarding Israel and the Jews. I believe as our Pope that Catholics and Jews must stand together in support of Israel. My White Nationalist friends feel the exact opposite that they must stand with Hamas and other Islamic terrorist groups ( or to you WN and Progressives, freedom fighters).
I know that you believe that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I believe that the enemy of my enemy is still my enemy. That one of the problems we have in the States and around the world is that we have people who are in denial. They refuse to see that Islam is no friend to the WEST. Look what they have done to the UK!!! They are taking over the UK and changing the very culture. We are being displaced from our own lands and the world is silent and supporting them. They don’t want peace, they want an a world under Islamic rule. I have posted some of the signs that they use during their protests and day of rage as they call it. One day they believe that the world will be under Islamic rule. The West is stupid to think that Islam is a religion of peace and that they will allow us the same freedoms that we in the WEST have given them. I know you know what has happen in the UK.
We must get pass denial and into the acceptance stage of they are our enemy and we must fight or we will loose the UK and all the WEST. Our culture will be gone and only a memory as the world is forced to live under Islamic Law. I won’t submit. I would rather die in battle with courage then to live as a coward in slavery. You White Nationalists are not going to be able to win in a fight for the UK. Do you really think you can win when they outnumber you? Not only will you have to fight the Muslims you will have to fight the Progressives who also outnumber you. One day you will have to fight it out, as Islam wants a one world order of Islam. Progressives one their own world order. White Nationalists want a piece of the pie for us Whites.
One must look at who the players are. Who are the people talking at the table and dividing the world up between themselves? Who is a player and who is a card that is being played for?
Russia is an upcoming power. They are a player at the table. You must look at their strengths and weakness. China too is a player at the table. The United States or the UK are not players but both are cards that are being played for. Islam is also a player at the table. Their greatest asset is faith in their god, plus add oil. China as money and a large military force. Russia has control of the energy pipe lines in Europe so they are a player. Then you have George Soros who is a player at the table. Which side are you White Nationalists going to line up with? Will it be Russia? Will it be with Islam? What will this new world look like when all is said and done; now that the UK and the USA are not the seat of power anymore?
It is going to be a Summer where by Fall we might find we are living in a whole new world that we have to draw a new map for, as the old world will have passed away.
I believe we must choose sides. That people can’t be hanging on the fence anymore. I choose to stand with Israel and the Jewish people. I was reading my day by day book yesterday and they talked about a Catholic man of Austria, who had to choose if he would accept his commission in the Nazi Navy. He chose to stand for his principals and his Catholic faith. He helped the Jews. He died in a Concentration camp. There are stories of many Catholics who helped the Jews because they had such a strong faith in God that they had to obey God over man. We are living in days that we too will have to choose what side are we on.
You White Nationalists helped me when I needed help. I loved some like a sister loves a brother. That will never change. You White Nationalists treated me 1000 times better then my so called Progressive Democrat friend in Marshfield, MA. Who when I went for help because I needed a safe place to stay for a couple of days until things calmed down with my mom and the abuse was stopped, told me it wasn’t his problem which is the same as saying go to hell. While my White Nationalists friends had a good heart, this friend an a heart of ice. Yet, I can’t support your views on Israel and the Jews. I can’t support the Progressive views which are the same as White Nationalists regarding Israel and the Jews. I think both of you are wrong to side with Islamic terrorists.
Garfield, I have always believed a real woman brings out the best in a man. I also believe a real man isn’t afraid to admit he is wrong. A real man if he is a Catholic prays the rosary everyday. I am very happy being a woman. Our roles as men and women are important, but they are not the same. God made us different. We are equal, but different. I am old fashion. A real man values a woman who is not afraid to tell him the truth. A woman who loves a man wants to help him be the best he can be, and that means having the courage to tell him the truth and he is wrong, when everyone else just tells him what he wants to hear.
I know you and the White Nationalists friends I knew, do what you do because of love. You love your families, you love your race and cutlure, and you want a safe world for your children and women. I know that your motives are twisted and lied about. You also know that Whites can love their ethnic group and be proud of who we are and fight to perserve our ethnic group from being wiped out and not be White Nationalists. To many White Nationalists can’t understand the difference between White Pride World Wide and White Nationalism that is having to fight for political power, so that you have the government to run the state that White Nationalists dream of.
I will not support you or help you White Nationalists achieve you goal of Israel and the Jews being driven into the sea.

The big jewish question, I know the time is coming when the zionists will stand alone amid the arabs. This has very little to do with religion and more to do with the subversion of a plain truth. The truth as I see it simply the jews are moving to control more and more of our daily lives, what we see on TV, what we read, what we should accept as truth. They have even changed judaic and christian beliefs to suite their agenda. I wonder how much of old christianity and where it stems from they have changed, the Council of Hippo in 393 was the last step in conformance.
Whites must be nationalist, the alternative is an egalitarian state where we must hear how equal we are to jews, muslims and gays? Blacks who draw more welfare than the average white, blacks who require a step up in the job market because they are repressed.
Whites will not prosper as long as jews and blacks are allowed to run our economies.
My views on muslims have always been the same, they are the enemy! They are more subtle than the jew, they don’t assimilate in new cultures, they are a slow rot in the fabric of white society and the average Joe doesn’t see it or care. The world order of late backed by the jew influenced UN will be the final assault on many western nations.
Time to secure a small self sustaining farm is running out, I’m making my plans to separate. Family and kin is all I require the rest is purely a means to an end. White separation from the black horde.

I think it is time to get out of big cities as when the economic downfall comes, it will be easier to survive. I was always for people working together and bringing their gifts to the community. Plant gardens with food, relearn canning, and learn how to sew, are very important in the coming days. We have an youth who doesn’t understand that they are being brainwashed and that they are beliving lies as truth. Why is it that other races can fight for their survivial and it is considered an human rights battle, but if Whites fight for our survival it is considered racist?
The difference is on who we consider the enemy. You, along with White Nationalists and Progressives see the Jew and Israel as the enemy of mankind and if only Israel is destroyed along with all the Jews of the earth, then it will be heaven on earth. That is a lie!!
You White Nationalists like to think that the Jew is in charge of the whole world. Tell me, then why is the Jew so hated by the world and the world is gathering to attack Israel? Hate is growing daily for Israel. You have White Nationalists, Progressives and Islamists coming together all for their common goal of destroying Israel and the West. There are more of you, then of us who are standing with Israel.
People haven’t learned from history and so we are repeating it. Now is the time to decide what side you are on. Will you be on the side of hating Israel and the Jewish people? Or will you be on the side of standing up for the truth and standing and sharing the same fate as those who are being targeted just because they are Jewish or Catholic/Christian? I choose the side that I feel the Lord wants me to be on and that is standing up and supporting Israel and the Jewish people. I am standing up for the true Catholic faith.
There are some churches that are being deceived like the Methodist church. If I find the Catholic church that I attend, takes the side of the Islamic terrorist groups then I must leave that church. I had said before take time to pray, but the Lord has shown me, that if a church chooses to go against the Jewish people then it is time to leave that church.

You have your reasons for not believing in God, but as a Catholic/Christian I wish you would accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Everything that is happening today is in the Bible. I know people will laugh at me or think I am loony because I know that the Bible is the Word of God. We Catholics don’t believe in the Bible the exact way as Protestants, but we see it as a treasure chest filled with all kinds of treasure. Psalms, Proverbs, Gospels, History, Etc.
I believe in the message of Fatima and Medjugorje. It is so important for us as Catholics to pray our rosaries and do what is said in the messages. I read the story the other day of a saint who did the right thing in standing up for the people in the town that the Nazi Soldiers wanted to make and example of and offered himself up in their place; and of a Nazi soldier who wouldn’t kill the Priest so the soldier was brought next to the Priest and they were both shot and killed together. His name was Fr. Domenico Mercante of italy. The soldier’s name is unknown. That is just one story of Catholics who did the right thing and even died. I choose to follow in their footsteps.
People need to wake up to the truth quickly, before it is to late. We are already seeing Laws in America that will have the effect of having Jews having to choose between following their religion or breaking the Law. History does repeat it self.
Garfield, if the Jews were the all powerful that we are told by White Nationalists are, then why would they pass Laws that forbid them to practice a part of their religion? Why would they allow the World to hate them so much? The real power in the world is Socialists/ Communists and Islam. When they have achieved their goal of destroying Israel and the West, then they will turn and fight each other. White Nationalists will be there too. All of you fighting against each other. You for the survival of the White race, The Socialist/Communist for the worker and the Muslim for Islam.
heard a tape this morning of a Muslim in the Middle East who said that they will kill all who don’t convert to Muslim. The men will be kill and his wife and children will be held as slaves and sold. Yet, White Nationalists and Progressives alike think that they can work with the Muslim whose goal it is to kill them and hold their women and children as slaves they buy and sell with no rights.
They teach their children that it is a wonderful thing to kill Jews and Catholics/Christians. Islam is not the religion of peace that people are being told they are. Denial is deadly.

The bible is so distorted from its original text that I cannot rely on it. At the Council of Hippo in 393 AD, many books and texts were changed and altered to fit the current dogma of the church. This is not an assumption but a historical fact that many books in the bible are not a true translation of the original in fact many of the original books were destroyed to prevent the growth of gnostic and Essene thought. I base an belief on history and the new testament was written between 60 and 150 AD, The book of John was not written by John but rather by Lazarus who was Jesus’s ‘most beloved’. The Gospel of Mark does not refer to the crucifixion in the bible, yet it has been shown that Mark indeed wrote of it but it was expunged by the church. Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute as many churches have wanted us to believe. It is filled with so many historical inaccuracies that I cannot have any faith in a book manipulated by men to serve their own pious agendas.
I have many questions regarding it origins of christianity, I am not one led by faith but by realism, conviction and knowing the origin of dogma and its ultimate purpose. Till then I will remain on the fringes looking in with interest.

Jesus also said “Salvation is of the Jews”…

The religious leaders of the time were all jews! There are many jews spoken of in many early texts, jesus was just another who tried to be recognized.
The Greek historian, Herodotus, wrote about this jewish cult sacrificing humans to their devil-god Moloch (Vol. II, p.45). When Christ said, “Your father was a murderer from the beginning” (John 8:44), He was referencing these jews to their god Moloch.
Perhaps you could address the historical inaccuracies that I spoke of?

The concept of salvation is rather an archaic remedy, its was started by many early church but was refined with the payments of penance and the forgiveness of sin. I have no need to be saved from world dominated by by jewish theology, salvation is for the weak in my opinion. The only salvation I recognize is the freedom of whites from the oppression of jewish theosophical thought.
Can you offer me one shred of credible evidence that jesus was divine? I concede his historical context, but as the son of man there is no evidence. The use of faith does not offer any new evidence either.
A few further points.
Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus (the messiah) would be called Immanuel, which means “God with us.” Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible.
The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.
Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled.

Been posting on SF lately in the open section. I enjoy talking to people. One can learn so much by listening and having conversation with others. I talk to all kinds of people who hold different views and practice different religious faith, or have no faith at all in a God or deity.
For the first time since June we are going to be below tripple digits today. We will only be 98. Which is still to hot for me, but it is better then 110 degrees F. Not much happening here.

I’ve been around as they say just under the radar, no luck with the house but hey I’m staying as positive as can be expected. We’re off to the farm next week for a little R&R and so the kids can see the animals and real life.
Why is it only you yanks still use Fahrenheit whilst the rest of the modern, evolved world (hee hee!) use Celsius? I always forget the conversion factor.
We are having a mixed weather of rain @ 14′C and sunny days @ ‘C, we need the rain as we are in a water restriction zone, meaning you can’t wash your car with a hose and only water the garden after sundown.
Otherwise all is well besides the family flu epidemic.

I will keep you in my prayers. When I say my rosary tonight, you will be included. Hope everyone feels better soon. That is great that you are taking your family to the woods and get away from the modern world. That is one of the joys of camping of going some place where there are not cell phones, computers, I pads etc. To be where there is no radio or tv, and the family sits around a camp fire and tell stories and really listening to each other.

Bill Clinton said today that it is the Jewish Prime Minster’s fault for no peace. That is wrong at best and a lie at worst. It is the fault of the Islamic terrorist friends of Clinton and Obama. I will comment more when I post the story. Let’s just say that they have chosen to support evil by their silence of their murders the Islamic terrorists comment. Did Bill speak out when a Jewish family were murdered, including a baby, just because they were Jewish? Who the Muslims celebrated their murders? No, not one word of condemnation was spoken by Progressive Democrats liek Clinton and Obama. Did they speak out when their Islamist friends walk into a Catholic church and start shooting and killing people, just because they were Catholic? No not one word. Did they speak out when two moderate Muslilm men were muredered for daring to speak out against the stoning of women. No, not one word. In fact the red carpet was given the President of Iran this week. Clinton and Obama might not be evil, but they have chosen the path of evil. To be silent and to allow EVIL to continue makes you just as guilty as the Islamists who murder.
We must pray for Israel, for Jews, Catholics, Protestants and Moderate Muslims who do have the moral courae to fight the evil that is gaining power in the world. Who are willing to die in battle then to stay silent and allow teh world to fall into a one world government under Islamic Law.
People don’t want to hear the truth, but that is the truth. We are seeing a repeat of history. We are seeing a rise in hate toward jews, Catholics, Protestants and Moderate Muslims. It is political correctness to mock, bash, and hate the above groups of people. It is against the Law to speak the truth about radical Islam and the evil that they commit.
As for me, I choose to stand and support Israel.
