Those who have read my blog from the very beginning, know that I started from a place of thinking the Glenn Beck was insane and was talking crazy; to a place where I as a Catholic women really admire him because of his strong faith in Christ. Glenn Beck is an honest man who is speaking from his heart. He loves his country and family and he is worried for their future. We can’t just judge people based on hearsay but must take the time to research them for ourselves by watching and listening to the person ourselves and not just send others to check him out for you. It is best to talk one on one ourselves so their is no misunderstanding and people can’t put their own personal spin on things. Remember the game telephone that we played as girls. Every time by the time it came back to you it was either a total lie or half lie. Don’t just take other’s word that he is insane, but do the research yourselves.
Part of the problem is that Glenn Beck uses humor and sometimes I think people get offended with his humor. One of the reasons why I think Glenn Beck uses humor is that he needs to bring a few laughs not only to himself but for others as well, as if we only thought and talked about the serious problems we are facing that we would go insane. It is not making light of the problems it is just survival to try and find a way to laugh a little so that we can take our mind of our problems for at least a few minutes.
I have been wrong about people before, so I am not saying that everyone has to think like I do. People who I thought had a good heart like me, turned out to be people who had no heart. Like the tin man, who had no heart. Yet this person doesn’t even realize that he lacks a heart, so on he goes living life only caring about what he wants. I have been wrong about people who I thought were telling the truth, only to find out that they spread lies about a whole group of people because they HATE. Both Progressives and White Nationalists spew HATE. I REJECT BOTH OF THEM BECAUSE I KNOW AS A CATHOLIC WOMEN THAT LOVE IS FROM GOD AND HATE IS FROM THE EVIL ONE. So I must reject both the Progressive message and the White Nationalist message. Though I will say that I have found White Nationalists had more compassion in their hearts for Whites then Progressives. To Progressives if you are White or Republican you are the enemy who doesn’t deserve any compassion. I can’t really explain the HATE the Progressives have, as they don’t even see the HATE THEY HAVE IN THEIR HEARTS TOWARD OTHERS WHO ARE DIFFERENT THEN THEY ARE. So if I turn out to be wrong about Glenn Beck that is par for the course. Yet, we must all trust someone so right now he gets my respect and trust; until such a day he shows me by his words and actions that he is an enemy of this nation and the Constitution; so that I must turn and fight as a Political Daughter of the American Revolution.
I am listening to his show right now and his guest is a Catholic priest. We must try our best to live as christ would have us live. We must have honor and character does matter. Collective salvation/ liberation theology which our Pope has condemned as false teaching that leads to hell is a lie that many Catholics have fallen for. Our Pope warns us to stay away from this lie so that we will keep on the true path. We must pray for our Catholic brothers and sisters that they will see the truth and renounce this false teaching and embrace the true teachings of the Catholic church. We need to keep our eyes on Jesus and allow him to work in our lives.
The situation in Japan is not good. They have increased the nuclear disaster number to 7 from 5. I hope that Americans will wake up and realize that there are better sources for energy then nuclear. We don’t need nuclear power. We must realize that we must be good stewards and caregivers of the earth so that when we die we leave our children a livable planet that is a healthy place to live. Yet, we live in a time, where Progressives generalize Republicans to be evil villians who don’t care about the environment which is a LIE. THERE ARE GREEN REPUBLICANS! There are other issues that Conservatives generalize Democrats on which are not true. I am thinking of the abortion issue. There are pro-life Democrats as their are pro-abortion Republicans. Why they would stay in the Democrat party when their platform is pro abortion is beyond me, but that is up to them. They might be thinking why I would stay in the Republican party when they have a terrible record on the environment.
I was listening to Jesse Ventura last night on Coast to Coast and I too think he is a honest man. I agree with him that both parties are part of the problem and not the solution. I said the very same thing. Yet, I don’t think leaving the parties is the answer as time is running out and I think we must stay within our parties and weed out the corruption and rot. We need to take back our party for the people. Don’t vote for the party but vote for the person. If the best person and most honest person is of a different party vote for that person over the bad egg in your own party. 2012 will determine if we as a country will survive or fall. If any elected offical is lying to us, then we must have the backbone to fire them at the very next election. We must let our message be loud and clear we will not tolerate LYING, CORRUPTION, AND ALL THE OTHER THINGS THEY DO THAT ARE DESTROYING THIS COUNTRY.
Hope everyone has a great day. I am going to start my morning prayers and rosary now. Don’t know if I am going to Republican club meeting our the parish confession. If the neighbors next door want to go to the Republican club meeting which is talking about Immigration, then I will go with them. If they aren’t feeling up to it, then I will go to confession. I try to go once a month and I need to go before Easter.

Glenn Back was like the “Chicken Littles” always saying that the “Sky is Falling”, like the same ones that were the “Chicken Hawks” (“W” Wars), big talk no courage. The United States, favors creativity wherever it can be found. We’re apostles of prosperity and defenders of the free exchange of ideas and when more people in more countries are free to rise, to invent, to communicate, to dissent, it’s not the doom of United States leadership, its the triumph of the American way. Generations have worked hard and sacrificed much for the country to reach this point (individuals and our unions!), and with further hard work and sacrifice (along with our relentless self-doubt) the United States will rise again, we do not tire and we are coming back, no matter what the “Chicken Littles” keep saying about our nation. Never Bet Against the United States!

Don’t ever think for one minute that this political Daughter of the American Revolution is against the United States as founded by my ancestors. Who were willing to die in order to be free. Just because some of us have the courage to speak the truth doesn’t mean that we are anti American. We are pro American and we love this country and we are willing to fight to protect the Constitution that is being torn to shreds by some in our government.
When we have a President and Congress who LIES TO US, we have a duty to speak up and warn people that our government is corrupt and needs a good spring cleaning. We must be people of HONOR, CORAGE, AND MORAL CHARACTER. I believe one of my heroes from childhood, Robert F. Kennedy would be on the side of the people in demanding that our LEADERS BE HONEST, HONORABLE, AND MEN/WOMEN WHO HAVE THE COURAGE TO STAND UP TO LIES, CORRUPTION AND LACK OF MORAL CHARACTER IN OUR LEADERS.
I am still making my mind up about Glenn Beck. You describe him as “chicken little”. I see him as a Morman man who loves God and wants to be a man of honor. I first started to watch his show around the time he had the rally in DC. I was so impressed that he had Whites, Blacks, Hispanics and people of all races there who were joined together by their faith in God and love of country. They knew that we as Americans had to be honorable people and if this country was to be honorable then the people needed to be honorable too. We must take our government back and weed out from both parties those men and women who lie, are corrupted, and who take bribes. Truth and justice must mean something again.
Do I agree with everything he says or does? No, but I am listening and read his book “broke” with an open mind. He has some truth in what he says. I have been wrong about people before and I could very well be wrong about Glenn Beck; though right now I see him as someone who is honest and has a sincere love for God, family, and nation.
If we don’t get our debt under control this country is going to be bankrupt and Americans are going to suffer some real pain. It will hurt more if we go broke then if we cut the budget, raise taxes, and stop all three wars we are fighting. We need to stop the WARS so we can put some money in building an updated electrical grid that handles Solar, Wind and other renewable energy sources. Yet, we have both Parties who seem to LACK THE COURAGE TO DO WHAT IS NEEDED AND TELL THE AMEICAN PEOPLE THE TRUTH THAT WE DON’T HAVE MONEY FOR EVERY SINGLE PROGRAM THAT IS A GOOD PROGRAM; AND EVERYONE AND THAT INCLUDES UNIONS HAVE GOT TO MAKE SACRIFICES. CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT NEED TO CUT THEIR PAY AND BENEFITS AND MAKE SACRIFICES TOO. THEY SHOULD DO WHATEVER THEY REQUIRE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO DO.
Most important is we have GOT TO STOP PLAYING POLITICS WITH ALL THE ISSUES. WE NEED TO STOP THE DEMIGODING. WE NEED TO START BEING HONEST AND FIND THE COURAGE TO DO THE RIGHT THING.
I worry about the youth in this country. Are they being taught to think outside the box? I fear they are only being taught to listen and obey and submit; without question. We must make those in power give an accounting of their actions. If we don’t then we deserve the bad government we get. The GOVERNMENT IS HERE TO SERVE THE PEOPLE AND NOT THE PEOPLE TO SERVE THE GOVERNMENT.
