Orange Sesame Szechwan Stir Frying Sauce

Orange Sesame Szechwan Stir Frying Sauce
ingredients
Sauce
1/2 cup low-fat, reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 Tbsp. rice vinegar or rice wine
1 Tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tsp. grated orange zest
1 tsp. sesame seeds
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
1 fresh red chili, finely chopped, or 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
Thickener
2 tsp. arrowroot or cornstarch
1 Tbsp. water
preparation
Makes 1/2 cup
Preparation time: 6 minutes
1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl or measuring cup.
2. Combine the arrowroot or cornstarch with the water. Add to the sauce.
3. Add this sauce to your favorite stir fry toward the end of the
cooking time. Add the sauce and toss to coat for about 1 minute.
