Boehner: ‘Americans Haven’t Experienced the Change President Obama Promised’
“In the final days of the 2008 campaign, Barack Obama promised to ‘change this country and change the world.‘ Well I don’t know about the world, but here at home, Americans haven’t experienced the change President Obama promised. One in ten of our fellow citizens is out of work. Our national debt has grown by $3 trillon. Trust in government has fallen to an all-time low. These probelms didn’t start under President Obama. But instead of fixing them, his policies have made them worse.”

Those words are true. Trust in our government is at an all-time low because they continue to LIE to us. WE THE PEOPLE CAN’T BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY. SO YES, IT IS A PROBLEM. We also have a President who by his words sows racial discord and calls FELLOW AMERICANS WHO ARE REPUBLICANS ” ENEMIES” WHO MUST BE PUNISHED. WE ARE NOT ENEMIES OF DEMOCRATS BECAUSE WE DISAGREE WITH THEM ON OUR VISION FOR AMERICA. WE LOVE OUR NATION AND MANY OF US ARE WILLING TO DIE TO DEFEND HER AND OUR CONSITUTION FROM ALL ENEMIES WHO WOULD WANT TO DESTROY HER. REPUBLICANS DIDN’T ATTACK US ON 9/11, BUT RADICAL MUSLIMS DID.
Up until Mr. Obama we had Presidents who only used the word “enemy” for those like radical muslims who actually attacked our country and declared war on us. In 2010 we have a President who refers to Republicans as ” the enemy”. He stirs up hate and division in this country and not love and unity of working together. All his talk about uniting this country and bringing us together has turned out to be more of HIS MANY LIES.
Mr. Boehner, my problem with you being the next speaker of the house is I am not sure you understand what the real problem is and the hard choices that need to be made to save this country. I am afraid you are more of the same ole same ole that has led to the reason why AMERICANS DISTRUST THEIR GOVERNMENT AT RECORD LEVELS.
I am not saying these things because I hate Republicans because after the election I will be rejoining the Republican party. I will be voting Republican so I am one American who is on your side. I just don’t see from the words you speak that you GET IT anymore then Obama gets it.
Republicans have a chance here if they regain both the House and Senate to show people that they are willing to do what is NEEDED to SAVE this NATION FROM GOING OFF THE SIDE OF THE CLIFF. TO THE AMERICANS WHO ARE OUTSIDE OF DC AND THE SEAT OF POWER IT LOOKS LIKE OUR GOVERNMENT IS LIKE THELMA AND LOUSIE LAUGHING AS THEY ARE DRIVING THE NATION OVER THE CLIFF WITH THEIR ACTIONS.
I TEND TO BE BLUNT MR. BOEHNER, BUT YOU AND OTHERS IN POWER SEEM TO LACK THE MORAL BACKBONE TO TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HARD CUTTING OF SPENDING THAT IS GOING TO HAVE TO BE MADE. I would rather hurt now and go through what we have to go through now so that the children don’t have to go through worst tomorrow.
AMERICANS ARE NOT STUPID BUT IF WE ARE TOLD THE TRUTH OF THE SITUATION WOULD DO THE RIGHT THING.
I hope you “get it”. I hope you have the moral courage to tell us the truth, even though you might get fall out for it. Most Americans would admire you for daring to tell the the truth and what we can do to fix things.
