Congressman: Military Service Doesn’t Equal Public Service
Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) has some explaining to do to the nation’s veterans. While attacking his opponent, Republican Patrick Murray, Moran said Republicans use “stealth candidates, that haven’t been in office, haven’t served or performed in any kind of public service.“ He said Murray is a ”typical” example.
There’s just one problem. Patrick Murray is Colonel Patrick Murray, and he served 24 years in the Army.
Still, Moran deserves the benefit of the doubt, right?. Maybe he forgot Murray served, or maybe he misspoke and would later backpedal. Not the case.
In video of the October 6 remarks, Moran recognizes Murray’s service, but still sets himself up as the real public servant:

Note too that it’s not as if Moran didn’t know about Murray’s service record. Moran actually sneers at it, claiming that Murray had “taken a government check” for 24 years as a member of the military, as if Murray hadn’t earned every penny of it working in defense of his nation.
While the Washington Examiner’s Barbara Hillingsworth adds this:
However, Moran’s opponent happens to be Col. Patrick Murray (US Army-Ret.), who served 24 years in uniform, was deployed to four different combat zones, including Baghdad, as part of the 2007 troop surge under Gen. David Petraeus, and was even shot at by foreign combatants. If that isn’t public service, I don’t know what is.

Hollingsworth also notes that Moran drew the ire of the Military Officers Association of America by claiming the group had endorsed him. It says it did not.
I want to comment from the perspective of having a half brother who was career air force and served in Viet Nam. My brother risked his life as did all the other boys and what do they get in return for their service to this country? They get mocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who does the mocking? Liberal/Progressives who for the most part didn’t have the courage to serve themselves.
My half nephew is in the army as a career officer. He too has served in Iraq. Why did he choose to serve his country? Because he believes this is the best country in the world. The men and women who are serving in our milatary are some of the best young people are nation has. They are willing to put their lives on the line so that Progressives like this Democrat Congressman have freedom of speech.
Progressives say they don’t HATE anyone. Yet, the truth is that HATE just spews out of their mouths. They are some of the most arrogant prideful people I have ever met in this world. They live in this make believe world in Washington DC that is not real and have the nerve to call our men and women who serve in the milatary to keep this nation safe loosers who don’t have what it takes to serve in Congress. I have news for this Democrat Congressman. HE IS THE REAL LOOSER AND NOT THE REPUBLICAN WHO SERVED THIS NATION IN UNIFORM. Yes, let us mock the Republican who like General Ike served this country in uniform wants to now serve his country in political office.
Progressives and Democrats like to say they Republicans and Conservatives are evil racists, but who are the real haters? I think the real haters are the PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS WHO LOOK DOWN AND DON’T CONSIDER SERVING OUR NATION IN UNIFORM PREPARES A MAN FOR POLITICAL OFFICE. While the Democrat Congressman has been sitting in his ivory tower away from the real world, the Republican has been fighting in the real world.

Let us send a message to Democrats that we will not tolerate their mocking our men and women in uniform. That we will not tolerate their lies and arrogance. That we are not the stupid people that Democrats like to think Americans are. That we will support our soldiers and that we believe serving in the army does prepare one for political office and even President someday. A man who has been there and fought in uniform is going to be a better chief of staff then a man who has never been in uniform.

Typical liberal crap. They claim to support the military and all who serve, but deep down have a hatred for the people who provide them with the security and right to speak to mindless drivel that comes out of their mouths.

I believe that no matter how much Democrats try and cover up the hate they feel in their hearts to those who serve in the military, Republicans, Catholics/Christians, Conservatives, the tea party people, and people from the South that the majority of Americans see through their lies.
They don’t see it because they are living in a dream world that doesn’t exist. In their world the ends justify the means and moral character doesn’t matter in a person. They may talk the talk and say they are honorable, but when it comes to walking the walk and standing up to the hate they remain silent. They can’t see that deep down inside that they hate and mock anyone who doesn’t walk 100% lockstep with their Progressive views. To them they are right and the rest of us are evil racist, crazy wacked out Catholics/Christisns who believe the Bible is the word of God and try to live by the teachings of Christ and our church, or stupid rednecks from the South who cling to our god and our guns. You have seen the mocking and the jokes they tell and think are funny. Yet they aren’t funny.
Not once do Progressive Democrats have the courage to admit they are wrong nor are they willing to face you and look one in the eyes and tell them the truth. They run away like scared little boys and refuse to face one and tell them the truth from their own lips. NO, THEY WOULD RATHER LIE ABOUT THE OTHER PERSON AND HARSHLY JUDGE THEM ON HALF TRUTHS, GOSSIP AND LIES. They are the biggest hyprocrits I have ever met in the world. They accuse Republicans of taking all this foreign money but the Democrats take more foreign money so it is just another example of them knowing what they are spewing out in election time is LIES AND MORE LIES, BUT THEY DON’T GIVE A DAMM THAT THEY ARE LYING TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. I reject White Nationalists because I think they are WRONG and that HATE is from the EVIL ONE. I FIGHT ALL HATE. GOD IS LOVE AND HATE IS FROM THE EVIL ONE. I know White Nationalists say they don’t HATE but the truth is that they hate Jews and Catholic/Christians. Yet, when it comes to being a better human being, White Nationalists beat Progressive Democrats hands down. When someone is hurting and suffering in the world, WN help that person out; whereas the Progressive Democrat will tell the person to go to HELL. Who is the better human being? White Nationalists are. Saying that I still have to FIGHT THEM, BECAUSE THEY ARE WRONG TO HATE JEWS AND CATHOLICS/CHRISTIANS. They are just as wrong to hate Blacks as Black Nationalists are wrong to hate Whites. They are opposiate each other but they are both wrong. I AM A CATHOLIC WOMEN WHO MUST DO WHAT I FEEL THE LORD JESUS WOULD HAVE ME DO. Yes, the world will continue to hate me, but the world has HATED SAINTS that walked before me. Many of the SAINTS were murdered for their faith. I don’t want to be killed as I want to find love and peace in this life. I say sometimes haven’t I paid the price yet of suffering to where I can enjoy life a little bit. I want so much to go to Scotland and Ireland and walk the land my ancestors walked. I am half Brit and I want to spend time in the UK healing from the PTSD and other emotional problems I have because of the many years of abuse. I dream of my knight in shining armor riding up and saving me and carrying me away to his castle in Scotland. Yet, like many Catholics who walked before me what I want may not be what God wants. So I submit to what God wants. I feel that God wants me to stand up for the truth.
I will continue to try and get all sides to see that they have HATE in their hearts toward people who are different then them. That HATE is EVIL and WRONG. NO HATE should be justified because one is in the same political party or holds the same political view.

With their lies, dirty tricks, and lumping us as evil racists because we are Republicans. Republicans aren’t perfect and have made mistakes. I know I left the party because I felt that they had allowed corruption to destroy the Republican party of Goldwater. Yet, inspite of the mistakes Republicans made I do think they are more honest and LIE less then Democrats who are more and more like used car salesmen trying to sell us a LEMON. They know they are lying but they don’t care.
I am reading a book now called grace and power. It is about my hero President Kennedy. I know he was a Democrat and to my mother’s grief her daughter at five years old made him her hero. I don’t feel that President Kennedy is like Democrats today. I know I was just a child, but I really thought he was an honorable man. He served in the navy and was a hero who saved the lives of his men. I don’t feel he would approve of Democrats mocking men who served in uniform for this nation and saying that fighting for this nation doesn’t prepare them for political office. I wonder if he would even be a Democrat today with the way Democrats have moved so far to the extreem? I wonder if he would be like many moderates today feeling that there is no political party that they can belong to? I would like to think he had the moral courage to stand up and FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe he would cringe to think that he planted his seed in one small child from a Republican family? Then again maybe he would like my spunk and not being afraid to stand and fight for this nation. I think he would stand up to this Democrat and tell him he is WRONG. I think he would stand up to Democrats and tell them they are wrong to LIE to the American people. At least in my mind he was a man who had the moral courage to put America first over his own personal gain. Democrats today only seem to care about what they want and not what the American people want. They don’t care if they have to LIE, CHEAT, STEAL, OR PLAY DIRTY TRICKS TO GET WHAT THEY WANT.
Sometimes I think I am a fool to keep believing that the American people will FIGHT and SAVE THIS NATION FROM WHAT IS COMING DOWN THE PIKE TOWARD US.
