Glenn Beck Reveals He’ll Undergo Medical Tests for Combination of Conditions
This morning on his radio program, Glenn Beck discussed in more detail some of the physical challenges he’s been facing. Glenn told his audience that he will be taking several days off next week to undergo tests at a hospital “out west.”
On recent broadcasts he’s discussed that he has been having problems with feeling in his hands and feet. Today he explained that “small fiber” issues may be involved but that testing will provide more understanding.
Glenn also said the listeners may have noticed a change in how he sounds on the air. He said he’s been having problems with his vocal chords and that doctors will also be examining this problem.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Glenn Beck and his family.
I know in the past that I have said things about Glenn Beck, but when someone is undergoing medical test for health reasons, that is the time to put aside all differences and step up to the plate and pray for them and their recovery. It is the time to offer help to his family.
Some Progressives would like me to believe that Glenn Beck is insane, but I don’t think so. I think he is a passionate man who really loves his children and wants them to have a good future. He is truly worried about their future and the future of all children. He see what is happening and he is trying to wake people up that we need to turn back to the moral teachings that we were taught.
We have a nation who has leaders in our government who lie to us or to put it in a kinder way don’t tell us the whole truth. They practice cover up and not honesty. Like the boy who cried wolf to many times we have a nation of people who feel our government cried wolf to many time and dont’ believe a word they say. People say that honor and character don’t matter in a President, but IT DOES MATTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like many people in this country reject both the Democrats and Republicans. I was a Republican for many years and come from a long line of Republicans. If I thought Republicans had learned their lesson and were willing to return to the party of Goldwater from the party of spending and spending, I would rejoin and help rebuild the party. The Republicans added to the debt we are in now. The Democrats took the spending into overdrive.
Beck has blasted both parties and like many people don’t know where to go politically because we don’t see a party that we feel we can belong to. Moderates in this country feel they have been left behind by both Democrats and Republicans and they have moved either to the far left or far right.
If one is pro life they are not welcome in the Democrat party because when their is a pro life Democrat who stands up for pro life the Democrats will seek to challenge him and get the pro life out of office, even when he is in their own party. Plus they have pro abortion in their political platform which means I as a Catholic can’t be a member of that party. The Democrats need to return to the party of Kennedy where pro abortion wasn’t on the party platform. Catholics might feel like they could be part of the party, because on the environment Democrats are more green.
Republicans are good on the pro life issue and many Catholics vote for them because they are pro life. Yet, there are other issues that are not so good. There record on the environment is terrible. Yet, mountaintop removal mining continues under a Democrat so it is more of the same ole same ole.
I have come to the point where I try and watch Glenn’s show everyday. I always learn so much, and I love the fact that he tries to teach us to do our own homework and check out the facts for ourselves. Not to just take his word, but to find out the truth for ourselves. He tries to build us up as better people who will be strong enough to overcome the dark days that are coming down the pike.
The economy is doing badly even if Democrats want you to believe the recession is over. The unemployment rate is still at 10%. People are still not working nor do they have an income that they can live on coming in. People are having to downsize.
No, I think the Progressive who told me that Beck is insane is wrong. I just think Glenn Beck is an American who loves this nation and is worried about our future as a free nation. He has every right to be afraid for our future when we have such a high debt that continues to get worst and worst. We keep digging the hole deeper and deeper so that we won’t be able to recover at all.
As a Political Daughter of the American Revolution I understand his love and wanting to fight for the future of this nation that is being destroyed by those in our government who continue to spend and spend. Who continue to allow our political system and process be corrupted. Both POLITICAL PARTIES do this.
What George Washington and John Adams warned would happen with the two political parties reaching the place where they become more important then then the nation and the American people has happen. A man who still has a special place in my heart wrote a book many years ago called ” a plague on both your houses”. He spent many years in politics and DC .
Right now, I don’t know where I am politically. For so many years I was a parrot that spoke what I was told to speak. Now I have to find out what I believe for myself and as Glenn says do my own homework and not just answer in a debate ” I believe this because Glenn Beck says so”. He wants us to do the research ourselves.
Some people think that the UK is to progressive for me, that if I can’t deal with the Progressives here in the STATES I won’t be able to deal with them in Scotland. There might be some truth, but I would be going back to Skye as a MacDonald. I want healing and peace in my life and there is no better place on earth then Scotland. I do have an open mind and am a good listener so why wouldn’t a moderate be welcome in Scotland and the UK. True I have a strong Catholic faith, but there are Catholics in Scotland who I can join with and worship together with as Catholics. I am a country girl and the best cure for me is spending time in the great outdoors with nature and just riding horses, sailing, and enjoying beautiful Skye and Scotland.
Chrisy, thanks for taking a second look at Glenn. I agree with you totally, except for one thing. I believe our government today, for the most part, doesn’t care about ANY of the issues-life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, environment, conservation, and so on. They only believe in the government, the nanny state. I believe it’s been this way for too long, that Reagan was the last decent president, but that even he didn’t go far enough. As for me, if things go ‘souther’, I’ll be headed to Asia, as my wife’s family lives comfortably in a very Catholic country there, and I know I can earn a living.

Thank you for your nice comment. I wish you and your wife the best. It sounds like I am not the only American who is thinking about moving out of the States. I have never been to Asia, but my sister has and she says it is beautiful there. I always wanted to go to Hong Kong as my dad always told me it had one of the most beautiful harbors. I almost got to go in the 80′s but didn’t.
Scotland is like heaven on earth to me. I will be so happy if I get to see Skye and Scotland before I die. MacDonalds all over the world dream of going to Skye. I dream of seeing all the British Isles. Yet, Skye and Scotland are very special to me because that is my blood line.
You make a good point about the government becoming a nanny state. To think they would tell me I can’t buy 7 up or another kind of drink. I like 7 up because it tastes good and if I want to drink 7 up I should be able to. If I want to have a donut once in a while with my morning coffee that should be my choice and the state shouldn’t say never again can you have a donut. We are becoming a nation of enslaved people but who are deceived into thinking we are still free. I don’t need the food police telling me what I can and can’t eat. I don’t do well with that and when people tell me I can’t have or do something, I find a way to do it anyway. So I may find myself in jail someday for daring to buy food that the government has banned.
They aren’t going to stop Mountaintop Removal mining. It doesn’t matter what party is in power that evil practice is going to continue. I don’t understand how people can be deceived into beliving anything our government says to us. They all remain me of used car salesman who is trying to sell me a lemon. I trusted them before, but I don’t know if I can trust them again.
