I posted this before, but for some reason it didn’t go throuth so will try again.
Home from the hospital, but can’t sit up for long period of time so won’t be to active on line for a few more days. Don’t let anyone tell you it is an easy operation because it isn’t. This is the first day where I feel like I am rejoining the land of the living.
Thank you to all the people who are helping me.

Welcome back, Chrisy…Operations, no matter what, are never easy. I’ve been praying for you, and will continue. God bless…
Thank you David for your nice comment and prayers. God bless you too my friend. I feel like we are becoming online Catholic friends.
Been watching Glen Beck and you will be glad to know am starting to see that he does have a true heart for Christ, even if he isn’t a Catholic, lol.
You are being proved right about him and I am being proven I was wrong.
Chrisy
I hope everything went well, and will be going well in the future for you. =)
Thank you for your get well wishes my dear friend. Each day, I seem to be getting a little stronger and able to sit up for longer periods of time.
I hope we both have a better future in store for us. We both are good people who deserve to move forward in life and leave all the crap behind us.
Love
Chrisy
Chrisy, we can be friends even if we disagree, as long as we’re charitable. So no worries there. I also want you to know that I see your points, most of the time, and we agree about stewardship (remember yesterday’s gospel?). We have to take care of what we have. (Do you know we’re supposed to love our enemies, too, not that you’re an enemy, but yeah, even Obama and Bin Laden, we’re supposed to pray for!)
I’m glad you’ve given Glenn a shot. No he’s not Catholic, but he is very sincere about what he believes, and he only wants America to return to it’s God-centered roots.
Get well soon, my friend. God bless.
Yea, praying for our enemies is a biggie. It is not always easy to do and others don’t always understand our compassion shown to someone who hates us and wants to hurt us. My mom and I go round and round on that one. She doesn’t understand how I can forgive and seek to talk to someone who proved himself to be a cold hearted selfish person. I know to him I wasn’t a friend, but to me he was my friend and that is why I defended him and held out until I was able to look him in the eyes and talk to him myself before just believing gossip as truth.
It took me many years to understand that this Catholic brother has free will and the church can’t make him do the morally right thing and face me. So I continue to pray for him even though I know I can’t trust him. God doesn’t say to pray only for those who we trust, love, and know are worthy of our prayers.
It is not easy to live by our faith, but we must strive daily to be the best Catholics we can be.
God Bless
Chrisy
Ah the star of the show is back!
Hope all is well? You know I actually missed you while you were away!
I have been doing some home DIY my house is almost ready for resale!!!
SCOTLAND beckons and I can’t wait, soon I’ll be on a new journey into the unknown, man I can’t wait to see my homeland and kin again. 38 years is a long time to be separated from your heritage.
I understand your feelings of wanting to return home to Scotland. SCOTLAND TOO BECKONS ME to return to my homeland and kin again, lol.
Though just because I am still in the STATES doesn’t mean I have been separated from my heritage. Lots of good CELTS AND SCOTS here. I have enjoyed the fellowship of my fellow clan and other clans over the years. Still dream of going to the Grandfather Mountain Scottish games where people go and camp out.
Alot of Scots came to the South. The Confederate battle flag is based on the Scottish flag.
Everyday I get a little stronger.
Best wishes my fellow Scot.
