My Thoughts for Monday
Tomorrow is my surgery for the thyroid cancer and I wanted to tie up some loose ends before going under the knife tomorrow. lol.
As I have stated before on my blog, when one is faced with having cancer one starts to really think about life. What they have done, what they have failed to do, and what do they want to do with the time they have left. Normal questions, at least I think they are normal questions.
Like many women who suffer PTSD because of abuse, it is normal to want to give the other side a chance. We try and give the other side a chance to show what they are really like. We listen with an open mind to what they have to say. Yet, many times we find that Progressives are not as open minded as we are but that they too spew HATE at those who are different then them. So I get back to the question of what makes Progressives any different then White Nationalists who spew hate at people who are different then them?
Progressives and White Nationalists hate and bash Catholic/Christians. Progressives think we Catholics are evil racist terrorists because we pray in front of an abortion clinic because we put our Catholic teaching above what is political correct in this country of thinking it should be legal to perform late term or partial birth abortion and that they should be paid for with public funding. White Nationalists bash and hate us because we support and stand with Jews who are hated by White Nationalists and condemn WN who feel that Hitler was right in seeking the final solution. Another common thought pattern I am seeing with both Progressives and White Nationalists is that they are silent on the violence that Muslims use against women. Both are silent as 13 year old girls who are raped are stoned to death. Both are silent as the so called religion of peace (Muslim) keeps women in slavery.
Like other women I have come to the conclusion that the far left Progressives spew as much HATE out of their mouths as White Nationalists do toward those who are different then them. White Nationalists don’t listen to others who disagree with them or who look different then them anymore then Progressives listen with an open mind to those who disagree with them and don’t agree 100% as they do.
I will continue to have an open mind and work to find solutions that will work, but I will not just be a Progressive parrot as I was a White Nationalist parrot. Right now, I can’t consider myself a Progressive because I will not be connected with people who spew any hate from their mouths. We speak what is in our heart so to speak hate is to bring forth the HATE that is in one’s heart. I ask again what is the difference between White Nationalists and Progressives who both HATE others who are different then them? Who judge people not with the facts of talking to them and really listening with an open mind, but who are close minded and think that only they are right? Both sides do this.
Like many Moderates in this country, there is no political party that represents our views. I will stay in the Green Party for now, as where can I go? My Catholic faith comes first over political views.
