Where God Is
God is manifest in the ordinary, in the actual, in the daily, in the now, in the concrete incarnations of life.
This quote came from one of my Catholic email groups this morning. Inspired, I thought I would write a few of my thoughts regarding what is going on in the world. Listening to classic rock with “Do you feel like we do”; which is one of the greatest rock songs in the history of rock & roll.
I have been very angry with BP and President Obama and have spoken out. Someone might ask Where is God in what is happening now? I know I have been praying and as a Catholic been praying to St Jude, the saint of lost causes. I hope and pray the top kill works. If it works than I believe it will be a miracle from God and our prayers will be answered.
Yet, the work to be done will be far from over, just because God helps men plug that hole. Tonight I am going to think positive that we humans will be able to celebrate the plugging of the hole. If it doesn’t work we will have to keep praying and trying with everything we can bring to this situation.
I came to love LA so I will continue to speak out for the people who I came to know and love. Just because we went our separate ways doesn’t mean I don’t care. I know what great people and the great culture and try to bring pressure to HELP. As a Green Party member I will do all I can to help you. I know you don’t trust BP or the government and feel like your questions aren’t being answered; the best thing is to try and get Journalists interested and who will then use their power to get the questions answered that all Americans need to know. Continue to speak to the press and get your story out.
Good luck, and I will continue to pray and fight to make sure you are treated with justice. BP needs to be made to do right to all of you, who because of the damage done by BP.

It has yet to be established that BP was at fault, they are the main holding company but many of the safety services were rendered by good old corrupt Americans. They have even hired an American to take over from the Brit they fired, just more of the same old same old. Perhaps if the federal government had allowed coastal states to take action while they could the disaster would be so bad, but bureaucracy broke their backs too.
This thread on SF should bring you a laugh!!
