Isn’t it lovely? – You have filed these sayings under “Catholic”
I am an Anglican so I would call you “ROMAN Catholic” and I would also label you perhaps “Christian” as I am- a believer in Jesus Christ our Saviour- but I also live in a country that calls itself secular and all those truths that we as Christians subscribe to- but freely- of our own free will- if we hope to secure Divine favour- as we believe it- all these truths are common to all mankind – even to the secular humanists
Isn’t it marvellous that our Bible enunciates them and reminds us every day in the precious words that daily comfort us- especially in this troubled and confused twenty-first century.
Thank you for reminding us Chrisy 58.
Sonia,
Thank you for your words. I file my Christian thoughts, prayers, etc under Catholic because yes, I am Roman Catholic. Though I do think that Anglican or other Christian paths can bless each other. So many blessings can bless all of us.
I have good friends who do not share my Christian faith, but who have a spiritual path. I find that in many ways no matter what faith we believe in that there are common blessings we can share with each other. One of the teachings that I think are common to all mankind is do unto others as you want done to you. They may not say those exact words but I think the same thought is expressed.
May God bless you.
Chrisy
