This may sound weird to people, but I like to fall asleep listening to the radio and then wake up listening to the radio.  Last night on Coast to Coast Am  they had the guy who wrote a book about the Federal Reserve Board that White Nationalists and the Right Wing like to encourage people to read.

I didn’t listen to the whole show, but the parts I did listen to got me thinking.  I hope I don’t sound like some nut when I talk about how this nation has changed by the actions of some in this government who torture people, spying on Americans, or the way our government has been allowed to put what is best for corporate America over the American people.  I don’t believe in UFO’s or any of the other wacked out things, but I have a true love for my country.  Maybe it is the fact that my ancestors fought in the American Revolution and they fought and were willing to sacrifice all they had.

I look around me and  I worry that future generations will not know the freedoms that past generations knew, because slowly and slowly like a frog slowly being cooked we have allowed our Rights and freedoms to be torn up.  I look around me and I wonder if people even care.

I am a passionate woman.  I love my nephew who is 32 years old today with all my heart.  He just took the bar exam Monday and Tuesday in Hawaii.  He is uncertain if he passed it, but many great people haven’t passed it the first time, so if he doesn’t he  will try again.  I worry about the future that his children will have when he someday marries and starts a family.

I was watching the King Arthur Movie the other night and there is a line in that movie that got me thinking about America.  The young boy tells Arthur the truth that the Rome that he grew up and believed in no longer existed but only in his mind.  I sometimes think that the America that was built on truth, justice, freedom for all, hope, and being a Godly moral nation is only in my mind.  Now we have a government who condones torture, spying on its own people, greed, lying, and destroying our national treasures by the evil practice of Mountaintop Removal Mining.

White Nationalists like to say I am a crazy loon because I don’t believe as they do that America was founded to be only a White Nation.  I was talking to a friend yesterday on the phone and I asked her do you remember your American History?  Am I a crazy loon because I remember being taught that America was founded on the principle of all men are created equal and not it is a White Nation.  She said no, I was right and wasn’t a loon.  Yet, how many people are being brainwashed to believed that America was founded by White for Whites?  How many Americans are being deceived into thinking race is their nation?  So I am wondering if the America that I believe in exists only in my mind.

Does the fact that White Nationalists and Right Wing nuts are the loudest voices in the choir mean that they are right and those of us who believe in the principles of all men are created equal, truth, justice, freedom, and being a light in the dark world wrong? I hope not!!!!  I hope that I am not alone.

King Arthur gave me hope because he decides to fight against all odds with his queen by his side and they both win.  They were able to defeat the Saxons.  They fought for a higher cause and they won.  They were able to rebuild their nation by those higher principles such as truth, justice, and freedom that I believe that America held dear until the day came when those who held positions of power in this country were allowed to commit crimes and disregard our Laws were able to get out of jail free cards.  Their corruption and evil greed were allowed to hijack the process and year after year the powerful have been allowed to do whatever they want without having to fear going to jail for their crimes. 

I wonder if there are many real American Patriots left who are willing to fight to save this nation from the destructive path we have been on for many years?  I see the torch falling out of lady Liberty’s hands and no one seems willing to pick it up and fight for those values we were told that American stood for around the world.  Are there any true Warriors left who because they have a deep love for this nation and our values are willing to fight?  Have we become a generation who doesn’t care about anything or anyone else but our selves and what is in it for me?  Where is our courage and our honor?

Anyway, can America be saved or did we loose the chance to take this country back because we allowed those in government to break Laws and not have to pay for their crimes?  Did we by our silence and turning the other way allow our whole Constitution and Bill of Rights to mean nothing?  If we really valued them we would have made those who committed their crimes to pay for them.  We would have made them an example to teach those who come after them that we in America will not tolerate the rich and powerful who governed this country to do their dark deeds and let them get away.  We can’t say we will allow those in power to break the Laws and disregard the Constitution this time, but next time we will go after those in power who do.  We started down a slippery slope and I don’t know if we can turn things back.

Anyway, on Coast to Coast Am, this guy made it sound like if any American holds my kind of views and believes in the America that once was, will be rounded up and put in government concentration camps they have built over this country.  They even believe that they are going to force people to get vaccines for the swine flu and if people don’t receive them they will put them in these camps.  I saw a clip on youtube about this so called coming threat that the Right Wing is trying to scare people with.  It is the same kind of stuff that Jeff tried to scare me with.  It was always the government is going to come and take us away.  The government is evil and that we must flee to the mountains and live with the food and guns to fight back when they come for us.

I believe the truth is somewhere in the middle.  I believe that there are still some honest and good men who are in our government but they have been stopped from doing that they know has to be done.  Maybe they for their own reasons have remained silent while our Rights have been slowly taken away from us, or our government using torture, or to continue to allow Mountaintop Removal Mining.  I still believe in the system we have and believe we need third parties more than ever to elect those men and women who will not be silent, but will do what has to be done and are willing to fight to save the heart and and soul of America so that we are not just a shell of the great nation we once were.  I don’t want us to become a memory only in our minds that no longer exists because no one cared enough to fight to save her or had the courage to do the right thing.  Jeff is WRONG!!!!  I believe that the WN and the Right Wing is WRONG.  I believe that even though the hour is late that there is still time if we as a nation are willing to make our voice heard and vote for the people who prove that they are worthy of our vote.  To join third parties who will bring Progressive views and not just give in and vote for the lesser of two evils, and make it known that we will not tolerate their LIES and CORRUPTION anymore.  That they will have to give an accounting for their actions.

I still have that spark of hope, because one needs to have at least one little spark of hope to keep fighting for what is right.  Even though the odds are against us, I believe that the there are Americans who still have the true heart of an American Patriot and will fight and not just allow the evil to prevail and to overtake this nation without a fight.

Someday future generations are going to ask this generation why didn’t you pick up the torch and fight? Why did you just do nothing while our nation was destroyed?  They will curse us if we do nothing, but if we at least try they will not think so badly of us.
