Alfred Vierling interviews David Duke 3/6/09

I decided to post this here, because I think it is important to know exactly what David Duke is saying to the world. He talks about different topics such as President Obama, the economy, Iran, and other topics.

After listening with an open mind, I can say I do not believe everything he has said about President Obama is true. I don’t believe President Obama is another George W. Bush . I would hope that we are not going to war with Iran. He talks about the Catholic Church and Bishop Williamson.

It is a very good interview and I am glad I watched it because I think I better understand the views of David Duke. Now that I have had time to think and reflect about the interview I thought I would make some comments.

First off I found it interesting the topics that you (David Duke) didn’t talk about in your interview that I feel are very important and ones that I feel we must address such as climate change. You say that you love the environment and that you are an environmentalist, yet you don’t talk one bit about steps that we as a world should be taking to fight Climate change. Climate change doesn’t seem to be a very important issue to you.

Second, you seem to think that your fighting for the White Race is something that you do as an environmentalist and that you hope that the whale, the gray wolf etc can be saved, yet White Nationalists make fun of those of us who are fighting to save them. You seem to think that environmentalist are fighting climate change, pollution, and saving our planet because we want to save the whales, gray wolfs, etc. but the truth is that most environmentalists are fighting because they feel that it is important for future generations. As you seem to think it is important to fight for the White race so that your children and grandchild and your great grand children can know the joy of being able to be blessed by living in a world that reflects their culture; people who are fighting climate change and for the environment are fighting because they know that we as human beings are blessed when we can go walking through the woods, or on the beach, or going fishing and eating the fish we catch and we know that if we don’t have the chance to spend time in nature that we loose something that can’t be replaced. I know I am not explaining this very well.

Third, As a Catholic I found your comments about Bishop Williamson not totally truthful. You aren’t a Catholic, but I know that many White Nationalists are ultra Traditional Catholics like this Bishop. He holds the same views that you do about the the actual number of Jews killed by the Nazis and that you White Nationalists are a big supporter of his. Frankly, Most Catholics around the world do not agree with Bishop Williamson’s statements. We did not agree with the Pope to reinstate him in the first place. No, there is no test that a Catholic has to take and swear on an oath that you talked about in your interview.

I am only one Catholic but I will try to explain why I think it was wrong to reinstate him in the first place. As a church we have people such as myself believe women can play a more active role in the church and I guess you would call us the more Liberal branch of the church. This Bishop that you White Nationalists defends holds the ultra trad. view that women shouldn’t wear pants ever, that women should play no active role in the church, and would like us to go back to the day when the mass is said only in Latin. While it was his views that he held regarding the Jews that were made public, many of us women were very unhappy with his views regarding women. We don’t want to go back to the days when all the masses are in latin. I speak English and I enjoy going to mass and hearing it in the language that I speak and understand. I don’t know Latin well enough to be able to understand or to get anything out of the mass if it was in Latin. I also don’t want to have to go back to the place where we women are to have no active role in the church. I know to you White Nationalists any women who fights for women’s issues is considered an evil feminist who wants to destroy the White Race, marriage, family, and their manhood; which is not true.

There is a double standard in the church today. Those of us who believe women can play an active role in the church and to help priests be able to carry out their duties when there is a shortage of priests are many times told we are in sin, while the ultra traditionalists seem to have been gaining power over the years.

Lastly, you talk at the end how people have to have courage and spirit to fight for their freedom. Just because people don’t join you in your fight doesn’t mean they lack courage or spirit. It also doesn’t mean that they are not fighting for freedom, truth, justice, or honor. It might mean that they feel it takes courage and strength to stand up to someone like you who comes across as someone who doesn’t really love America with your whole heart. When I look at you, David, I don’t see a man who has passion in his heart. I have never seen the passion in you. I have passion, but passionate is not one word that I would use to describe you. You are intelligent and have a good mind, while I on the other hand have a good heart.

In your book My Awakening you talk about how you are fellow Mayflower. You talk about American History and again you are smart, you know a lot of the facts, but do you have any real love for America? Do you have any real love for our values, ideals, and Constitution? When you talk about America I don’t feel your love that you say you hold for America, but I see a man who has distanced himself and doesn’t really care about what happens to America because you no longer live here. Your love and heart are in Europe.

I think listening to this interview is very much worth the time if you are seeking to find out who the real David Duke is. I would be interested in knowing what others thought who take the time in listening. Gaining knowledge is power and so I will continue to try and find out who the real David Duke is.
