I always get excited when I make a brand new discovery that can help me teach myself.  The patient that I worked with today used to be a college professor and he gets these catologs of courses that you can order.  He gave me the catalogs and there are some great courses of all different topics from history, art, music, writing, liturature and philosophy etc.  They are expensive but I think it would be worth saving and slowly working my way through.

It is called the Great Courses and I just think it is the neatest thing.  Anyway, I am really excited and am looking forward to really going through and reading about the different courses.  They also put a sample of what the course is like so I can learn just by going through the course offerings.

I know I sound like a Christmas kid on Christmas morning that just dicovered he got the toy he really wanted, but to me being able to have another avenue to teach myself is really great.

My patient also gave me the idea to work on my story for next week.  The word was Security and so he suggested I do it on the new homeland security director.  That will be educational not only for me, but for the listeners.

Anyway, I am not feeling very good today.   

Just had to share my excitement of my new discovery.  I also need to reply to John as I want to address another point in his comment.
