I think I am doing really good and then someone else has to make me feel like I am the most terrible evil person in the world because they are narrow minded and refuse to accept that the world is different now.
I have a spirituality. I still love to pray my rosary everyday. I still love God, Mother Mary and all the Saints. I still consider myself Catholic. I don’t go to mass right now because I have some issues that I need to work out because I am angry at how some on the pro-life side acted during this election. Making me feel like I have to choose between my church and my political party. I believe in seperation of church and state.
I don’t think it is right when Bishops say that they are going to deny Catholic Democrats who voted to keep the medical procedure abortion legal so that if a woman needs to have one that it will be safe Holy Communion. Not only on the Abortion Issue do I see my church getting involved that I fear may be crossing the line between church and state that is in the Constitution.
Anyway, my mom saw a book I was reading and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. It was of a Pagan nature. I like to read about all different religions so that I can learn. I am like a sponge and I soak of knowledge because I want to learn and expand my mind.
Christians make me feel like I am a witch because I would read on that subject.
My mother is really good about putting the guilt trip on. Look I feel more comfortable hanging out with my Pagan friends than hanging out with Catholics and Christians right now because my Pagan friend do not make me feel guilty for being a Democrat.
I also don’t like being reminded that there is no forgiveness for my sins because I was forced to do things I didn’t want to do. Until you have walked in someone elses shoes and can see things from their eyes you will never understand what they were going through. You narrow minded people have no right to judge others, gossip, lie and look at yourself as better than others.
I am not Pagan but I will continue to hang out with Pagans and read on all the different religions. I am still a Catholic but I need to work out some feelings before I go back to mass. I am not going to be a hyprocrit so if the church continues to make me feel guilty for being a Democrat and wants me to choose between the two than I will continue not go. I am not going to vote Republican so I heard loud and clear the message that if I voted for Obama I would be in moral sin and could not receive communion or kicked out of the church.
I still pray my rosary and I know that God will answer my prayers and send me a Catholic that I can trust and talk to without feeling like I am this evil witch that has to be burned at the stake.
I decided to vote for Obama. I am very happy with Joe Biden as his choice of running mate. I know I will hear about how I am destroying the United States of America for voting Democrat, but I don’t give a flying leap what they think.
This country is in deep trouble. All Americans need to wake up to the truth and decide to fight to perserve this nation that was founded on freedom. We are in for rough seas. We have major problems facing us and we will start seeing the results of having Bush in power these last 8 years.
The fact that Joe Biden is on the ticket I know that whatever comes down the pike from Russia and the others that we will have someone in power who knows his stuff and can give good advice. I believe him to be honorable and I know that he will reverse the policies of the VP that has served the last 8 years.
Anyway, I just wanted to let my feelings out so I would not binge eat. This journal I think is helping me.

Never let anyone make you feel bad about choices you make fr your life. It is your life and you have every right to feel the way you choose. Nobody should ever judge another for any reason because no one can ever walk in your shoes. As an American you have the right to vote the way you choose, read what you choose and feel whatever way you wish. Those ar everyones right and should be respected by anyone that says they are American. These rights pertain to all Americans not just the ones that agree with each other. If we all had the same opinions and thoughts what a boring world we would live in.
