Chicken & Stuffing Recipe

Chicken & Stuffing Recipe (Crockpot- Reg size)

3-4 Chicken Breasts (skinless, bonless)

1 cup chicken broth (neat tip: if you do not have chicken broth but have
chicken noodle soup, just strain the soup and add 1 can water and then use the broth from the soup!)

Peppridge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix (small bag) 3-4 cups

1 stick butter

1 can cream of celery or chicken

1 can cream of mushroom

1/4 cup milk

In crockpot, I go ahead and turn it on HIGH to get it started warming. I
find doing this for any recipe is good even if it calls to be on LOW. I just
“pre-heat” on HIGH while assembling the recipe.

Place chicken breast on bottom (the 4th might have to set on top of the
other three) Pour 1 cup chicken broth on top of the chicken in the crockpot.

In a bowl, mix both cans of cream of soups and 1/4 cup of milk. Blend. Then pour over the chicken and chicken broth but don’t stir them up.

Melt your butter in the microwave for 30 sec.

Add 3-4 cups of dried Peppridge Farm Stuffing Mix on top of the creamed soup mixture you just put in the crockpot.

Then drizzle the melted butter over the top of the stuffing.

Change your setting back to LOW to cook for 6-8 hours or you can leave it on HIGH to cook for 3-5 hours.

If you have 4 breasts it will take the longer part to cook. For 3 breasts
its only the shorter hour.

THis is a delicious dish you can serve for company.

When doing for company, I usually use the larger (oval) crockpot and double the recipe, put it on in the morning and cook it all day.

I hope you enjoy!!
