Robert Kennedy Tribute – Making a Difference
Every 4th of July I like to remember the great Americans who have live and died making a difference for good. It is because of Bobby Kennedy that I have my compassion, love for others, the truth, justice, and courage.
This clip brought tears to my eyes. I still have to turn tapes off that show the actual night. I can’t bear to watch it again. I saw it when it happen on tv that night. I was 10 years old and I haven’t forgotten.
I think it is good to remember great Americans on this day and remember just what this country was founded on and what we stood for at one time. Maybe it will infuse us with the energy we need to start standing up as a country and say I am not going to take this any more.
Happy 4th of July. I am going out with a friend tonight and am looking forward to getting out of the house.
